About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Very enjoyable
I have played this course twice and each time had a great time. You will need a variety of shots but the course layout is very generous. Greens, a bit hard, but roll relatively true. Will certainly play again.
Too busy and long wait
Usually a good experience, but not so good this past time. Pace of play was not good. Should allow carts on fairways when course is dry. Finally skipped a few groups it was so bad. Need someone speeding up very slow foursomes.
One of the best public courses around Charlotte
Superb conditions, especially considering the Charlotte summers. Greens had a trace of sand but all were smooth and putted true. Nice layout.
Awesome shape!
Greens and fairways were in beautiful shape the day I played. I was paired up with three other singles and we all had a great time. Bonus, for the first time I've seen in a long time on a golf course, there was ice cold water in an on-course water cooler.
Great Muni
Course in excellent condition, challenging! Needs directional signs from 1st hole to 2nd hole; otherwise, an excellent afternoon!
Good Place
Good track, the GPS limits on the carts are a bit excessive. Also, was assured I could make a reservation and then pay the senior rate, but the system charged me immediately and no senior rate allowed.
My Favorite Course!!!
This course is always in great shape. Love the layout and challenge. The staff is great! They are very professional and helpful. Nice ending last time I played as a Doe and her two fawns walked across the 18th tee box.

First Time At Rocky Creek
My son and I really enjoyed the course., even though we had a tough time reading the greens. Pace of play was excellent as the course was not at all crowded. Great conditioning. Back nine much more difficult for us than the front nine.
