About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Good experience at Rocky River
Greens putted well despite recent aeration. Would not pay full weekend rate of $69, but was good value for $39 weekday play. Several opportunities to change strategy on holes if played again. Not a lot of room for fairway misses—especially on back nine.
Great golf experience.
Overall a great gold experience. The greens were just plugged but they should be very nice in a couple of weeks. I’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyable course
A fun and challenging course to play. Unfortunately the greens had just been aerated and ‘sanded’, both of which are necessary processes for maintaining the condition of a quality course. I’ll certainly be back again.
Great course
Course was in great condition with the exception of the aerated greens. I will be looking to play again in a couple weeks. Definitely would recommend this course.
Beautiful course
Greens and fairways are immaculate. The carts were very helpful with built in range finders showing distance to pin. Will definitely be back for more!
Great Charlotte course
As always, course was in great shape. Greens are firm and roll true and the fairways are in great shape. This is my favorite Charlotte metro area public course.

Played today and course is in great condition from tee to green!!
From Miami
First time playing coming from Miami. Excellent choice, for the value for senior golfers and the par 5 are challenging. Will be playing again when in Charlotte. Good views of the Charlotte Motor Speedway!!
Best round of the year
After shooting the best score of the year, I must say that this is the best course I have played. Some greens were a little bumpy, but that's being picky. Will be back.
