Rocky River Golf Club at Concord

Course is in great shape. Greens are fast but hold shots. Fairways, rough all well manicured. Traps with bright white sand are also in great shape. I hadn’t played this course in a number of years and I forgot how hilly it is. At almost 70 years old, walking 18 was not a good idea!

Course was in great condition for April, or any time of the year! Bag drop staff was very friendly - they even called the pro shop and checked me in so I didn't have to go inside. Rocky River is always overpriced, and I knew that when making reservation, so did not let that affect my rating.

I've been playing this course once or twice a week for the past month, and it is always in great shape. The greens are impeccable, and the fairways (while maybe a bit dry at this point in the year) are solid and run true. The staff is also always helpful, even during this social-distancing era. The course is challenging, and higher handicaps may lose some balls, but you'll still enjoy yourself.

I liked that the carts have GPS and electronic scorecard. Great course.

Probably the best public coarse in the Charlotte metro. Since they went to Bermuda Grass green they are always in great sharpe and FAST! Love playing at Rocky River!

i had not played this course in several years and was presently surprised. We really did not encroach on the group in front of us or get pushed by the group behind us. The pace was fine. The course layout is nice with a returning nine. I like variety of distances and pars, so the front nine with only one par three and par five a bit of a bummer. However, the greens are nice and really really fast. Overall is a really good experience.

First time playing this course. It is a terrific, fun layout with no two holes the same. The greens were fast and mostly in good shape. Some of the fairways were thin but the course gets a lot of play. Great place to play!

The course is in excellent shape with fairways pretty much grown in and the greens were amazing. Smooth, fast and true. I’ll be back!

Thank you for allowing me to use individual cart during pandemic. I enjoyed the round today. It’s been over 3 years since I’ve play the course and it’s in great shape.

Well managed and great condition with all the rain

Greens are fast considering the amount of rain the days before playing. Fairways were wet and muddy. Staff was great in helping me. Had to wait before starting the round due to foggy conditions. Will return again.

Its winter alot of rain #4 was closed do to high level of water that destroyed the green. I'm sure in the spring the course will play better. Cool fairways to play but it was muddy. Just playing golf still fun to play. Cool views the drag racing track you see John force stadium.

The course was in Excellent condition from tee to green. I always say Rocky River is one of the best public courses in Charlotte by far. Front 9 plays more open. The back 9 is more challenging but you should be warmed up to shoot well. The course has mix of dog legs and about 5 water holes. My favorite par 3’s are at #5 and #15 over water, which are short but challenging. Bring your A game and hitem well at Rocky River!
