About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Best round of the year
After shooting the best score of the year, I must say that this is the best course I have played. Some greens were a little bumpy, but that's being picky. Will be back.
Love Rocky River!
Conditions were excellent all over the course. These are my favorite greens in Charlotte.
overpriced
staff at pro shop are rude and arrogant. Despite being mandated by the state tried to make me ride in a cart with a complete stranger. When I challenged them charged me an extra 10 dollars on already overpriced green fee. I will not be back

They've Lost My Business
Sorry to say, but I won't be going back to Rocky River - I just cancelled the two reservations I had for next weekend.
I feel they treat GolfNow customers as second rate customers.
The two gentlemen working the ProShop displayed such poor customer appreciation towards me today that I've decided to play elsewhere.
Best round of the year
Since I had my best round of the year, I have to say this is the best course I have played in 2020. Course conditions are excellent, but greens were bumpy in spots...that's being really picky. I usually play many different area courses, depending on the deals, but will try to come back soon.

Great layout and somewhat challenging from the green tees. Greens had been verticut recently and were a little sandy but putted fairly quick and mostly true. Great staff in the pro shop and bar, always a plus when you are treated nice! Had a great day and will return soon!

I love this place but they're getting too pricey.
The greens today were wonderful.
This was my first time playing the course, and it was in great condition, greens were true and fast, friendly staff, and I got paired with some good company. Definitely would recommend.
