Golfer Reviews
Opposite of country club
Course itself is entertaining. They took down a lot of trees and have not cleaned it up. Cheap course. A few fun holes where your second shot is far more challenging than the first. Overall affordable to the average Joe and meant for the average Joe.
Forced pairing was painful
The course was in poor condition, at least the front nine, and couldn't use driver until the 6th hole which didn't make for enjoyable play. Add that to being paired with another two-some that didn't know how to play ready golf and keep the pace of play smooth; other groups were waiting behind us and/or skipping ahead of us because they kept us so slow. One was drinking, smoking pot, playing loud music, spending a lot of time talking with everyone along the golf course. After taking almost 3 hours to play the front nine, we quit and left despite having paid for and intending to play 18.
Worst course ever!
This was the worst course we’ve ever played. It actually looks like there was a natural disaster that took place before we were there. There were trees down everywhere and there was concrete on the fairway. It was very empty, and that should be a sign of why.
If I could get my money back, that would be wonderful
There’s not a place for you to upload pictures for some reason, but I do have them if you would like them
Worse course ever
This was the worst course I’ve ever played/seen. The grounds were terrible. There were trees down everywhere and they weren’t picked up. It actually looked like there was either a hurricane or a wildfire that had gone through. Upon leaving the course, we actually asked if there was a natural disaster that had occurred that we were unaware of. My son was supposed to play in a tournament there on Sunday, but we were able to get a refund luckily because there was no way we would ever go back there.
Not worth the cheap price
One of the worst courses I’ve ever played. Had multiple residents from the surrounding houses walk on in front of me in the middle of holes and slow my play when I actually paid. Greens were longer than the fairways. Tons of ground under repair. Trees down on almost every hole. Paid $35 for 18 with a cart, probably wasn’t even worth $20 for 18.
New and old golfers Beware
This course used to be great. Cheap, great layout and just overall fun. The course is doing some type of remodel and has completely destroyed the course. Almost every hole has had MASSIVE amounts of trees taken down and the fairways are torn up from the heavy equipment. If you can’t play your ball right down the fairway every time don’t play this course as you’ll lose a lot of balls due to these *new* hazards. The removal of the trees has also caused a lot of the houses on the course to become exposed to possible damage so it makes your shots very tricky.
I won’t play this course again until all of this has been resolved and cleaned up.
Nightmare Conditions
I would not pay more than $15 to play this dump. Dirt fairways, overgrown tee boxes, and I have no clue what to even call their “greens.” Pair that all up with the fact they cut down 90% of the trees on the course and there’s debris everywhere.
Horrible Conditions
This course should not be open for play in its current conditions. All trees have been chopped down leaving mulch, tree trunks and large equipment everywhere. There was also a sewage leak so it smelled like manure which is unsafe breathing conditions. The cart paths are completely ripped up in many places leaving them hazardous.
Course conditions were not worth spending money on. Looks like the course started renovating years ago and never finished.
Construction didn’t help
Tons of trees getting cut down. I don’t except much from a course charging in the $50 range but the conditions were not great. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and anticipate conditions getting better once construction is done.
Practice course
Not a good maintained course. Tee boxes, fairway and greens are not well kept. However, relative to nearby courses it’s weekday pricing is fair for practice type rounds.
Very Bad
Trees have been cut down throughout the course and just left there. Piles at end of fairway as shown in picture. This place should probably close and do a major overhaul. It’s bad!
The course is under major renovations
Course is getting tress removed to allow sun to get onto course . Good value for rock bottom golf . Greens putt well .
