Chicora Country Club

This golf course has everything a player needs! Not only is the staff very friendly and nice, but the course is in extraordinary shape too. Greens are fast (11 on the stimpmeter), it is not busy (played walking in 2h50min) and challenging off the tee and around the green. Makes you hit every club in the bag and will teach you how to score with the short clubs.

I will definitely be back!

Front nine: wide open, no surprises, level fairways, not much trouble to get into. Second nine: much different, elevation changes, sloping fairways, a few blind shots. Greens are small and in very good shape, having been aerated a few weeks ago. Very good value. I'll rreturn.

This is a fun yet challenging course that can be enjoyable for both newcomers and veteran players. The front 9 is rather flat while the back 9 features a rolling layout. There are some rather long par 5 on this course so bring your driver.

Chicora is a good golf course for those who have trouble keeping the ball in the fairway. There are lots of pine trees but they are spread out with high limbs. The fairways are in fair condition and the greens are in great condition.
