The course conditions were above average, but the pace of play really slow.
Under maintenance
Very good course however the carts lock up too easily. We were just off the cart path. Reversed back on and it stayed locked. The cart boundaries are a bit much. Construction going on rebuilding bridges which is a good thing but very loud along with tractors, generators etc.. Best to wait until its finished to play again.
Keith Hills White to Orange
We had previously played black-white so this was our first time playing Orange, which I loved! The greens were sandy, obviously in recovery mode. But they were fairly true all things considered. I had hesitated playing Keith Hills again because it’s an hour long drive. But I absolutely enjoyed it and look forward to getting back up there soon!
Go play it! You’re welcome.
My favorite Carolina course
Keith Hills never disappoints. I live on Ohio but whenever I come to Raleigh, I try to play here. They have 27 holes which are both fair and challenging. I have played solo and also been paired with others and have always enjoyed the company.
The drive to Bueies creek is relaxing and worth the time to experience this gem in NC
As expected
The course is in decent shape, the bunkers are not good at all.
Hope the greens improve.
Tee boxes and fairways are good. Greens aren't bad but not consistent from one to the next. Then the white track is faster than the black and orange. Practice greens aren't true to the course either. No way to prepare for them. Overall fun and fairly challenging but hoping the greens get more consistent as the aeration is at its tail end. Heads up, it's not difficult to hit thru fairways even from blacks.
Pace of play was horrible.
Had to leave after 9 holes and 2:45 mins with no refund.Could be awhile before I go back.
I just want to mention that this was not my first time playing this course and I hope they make improvement’s.
Fist Round
Super nice course for the money and worth the drive from the Triangle.
Greens almost back
Summer aeration completed as normal, but greens slow to get back. Now rolling better. A little bumpy, but not as slow.
Nice layout with three nines. Play this often enough to get OK rotation.
Great course (unfortunate day)
I really liked the course layout. Only unfortunate thing that day was inability to mow the tee boxes and especially the greens. Made it so difficult to putt. Also the range was closed.
Like the fact it had 27 holes and pace of play was good. Will definitely be back though
Highly recommended
Course is always great, and the staff is always super nice and professional. Highly recommended
Nice course
Great course I played from the tips it was challenging, but not that long greens are in great shape and fairways are in great shape as well considering the lack of water lately
Keith Hills - Geat value
Great deal through Golf Now. Course was in good shape considering the drought conditions the last couple of months. Greens were receptive. Pace of play - we turned 18 in less than 3 1/2 hours. Challenging layout. The doglegs temp you to pull out the driver, but unless you are able to shape your driver at will, just lay up and hit a short iron or pay the price. The gentleman working the front counter yesterday was extremely friendly and helpful. Good experience. Very nice practice range with real grass and chipping green. Also, nice practice putting green.
Great as usual.
I always enjoy playing Keith Hills. It has everything a golfer is looking for.
COURSE CONDITIONS
We rated "Course Conditions" as a four star! This was because the rough was very penal! We even had difficulty finding balls unless we happened on top of them. Perhaps we played the day before mowing or they recently had college golf tournament! We drive an hour to play an excellent course 3- 4 times a year.
