Baywood Golf Club

Good fun for the money. The following is only to help you understand what you're getting for a really cheap green fee. It is a fun layout but the course is very thin on grass. Every lie around a green required perfect contact. Holes played short because tees were set up in temporary locations. Several drives took me to the edge of the greens only to bogey because of the super tight, questionable lies and hard ground. Traps are not attractive but play ok. Overall, a good course for the cost but if it were more, I'd play somewhere else. You really can't complain when green fees are $28 on a Sunday at noon. In a perfect world, they would charge a little more and put all of that money into the course. Aerating, greens and fairways, fertilizing and adding seed. You can see some improvement with the new owners. I also own a golf course and they are really in the business of growing grass. I normally shoot 3 to 5 or par but had an 81 and rolled the ball around looking for grass.

Not gonna lie and say it’s the nicest course ever. But for the price you cannot beat it. Staff is super friendly. It’s one of my go to courses for sure. Love Baywood.

Overall I really enjoyed playing here. The Tee boxes, and greens were in rough shape, but it’s a very affordable course to get out and play. Staff was friendly.

Course needs work but the layout is great and for $23 on the weekend it’s hard to beat!

So, I expected a Saturday to be a little more crowded but never should a course allow 7, yes 7 players playing together and then 5 players directly behind them!!! When I said something to the staff they laughed and said oh well . The marshal didn’t do anything either! Will never go again with a lot of other places to golf instead!!

baywood is a decent track. greens were hard and fast with some poe in them.. during winter there is no real grass growing so not much to maintain.

have a friend that lives on the course so we tye to play it often. lot of roots in cart path make it rough.
