The comments from others still hold true (i.e. needs work). But the price if you just want to get out and work on your game is very good. The layout was challenging on some holes, which made the course fun to play.. I was in town to visit my son's family and was able to play a round.

Can’t beat the price for a round of 18. However, the greens need work. Would definitely play again though just because of the reasonable cost to play and get some practice

Greens and tee boxes were atrocious. Had to tee off on mats for a few of the holes. There were practically no yardage markers throughout the course. The cart was the worst cart I’ve ever ridden in. Bunkers were either flooded or rock hard. The cart path was a rougher ride than the grass. Don’t waste your time playing here.

The best bang for your buck. Great course for a great price.

I drive past a golf course 5 minutes from my house every week just to play Baywood. Is it perfect? No. Is it a fun course to play? Yes. The staff is friendly and the prices are great.

Air rated greens for the past three weeks makes the greens overly difficult. The rest of the course looks nice but, there are some rough patches. It is extremely affordable, and the staff is very nice.

Course wasn’t in great shape but the layout made up for it! Fun track and for what we paid I wasn’t too disappointed.

Good fun for the money. The following is only to help you understand what you're getting for a really cheap green fee. It is a fun layout but the course is very thin on grass. Every lie around a green required perfect contact. Holes played short because tees were set up in temporary locations. Several drives took me to the edge of the greens only to bogey because of the super tight, questionable lies and hard ground. Traps are not attractive but play ok. Overall, a good course for the cost but if it were more, I'd play somewhere else. You really can't complain when green fees are $28 on a Sunday at noon. In a perfect world, they would charge a little more and put all of that money into the course. Aerating, greens and fairways, fertilizing and adding seed. You can see some improvement with the new owners. I also own a golf course and they are really in the business of growing grass. I normally shoot 3 to 5 or par but had an 81 and rolled the ball around looking for grass.

Not gonna lie and say it’s the nicest course ever. But for the price you cannot beat it. Staff is super friendly. It’s one of my go to courses for sure. Love Baywood.
