Lakeshore Golf Course

The blue tees are only 5700 yards and the white tees are only 5400 yards so a new golfer will not be overwhelmed by the distance. However, the course has a few tricks that will throw a few challenges at a really good golfer. The par 5 at number 5 has a dogleg with trees lined down both sides of the fairway. The part 5 at number 10 is wide open but the green is very narrow with deep bunkers in the front and woods in the back. The blue tees on 17 are well left of the fairway requiring you to fire at the fairway from an angle. Aim too far to the left and you will end up in water. Aim too far to the right and your drive will go completely through the fairway and end up in either the woods or another fairway. Finally, you close with a long par 3 that runs parallel to the road that will test your focus and concentration as cars zip by. It is not a great course, but you get good value for your money.

Course is in good condition. Has a good mix of difficulty with water or bunkers on every hole. Would definitely recommend.

the staff was pretty friendly. the course itself was in pretty good shape. apparently, they had just aerated the fairways, so they were a little rough, but i still found the course to be playable. i think that in another month, the couse will be in immaculate shape. i would definitely play this course again

I play the course often and have found the course to be in pristine condition even in the winter.

Very quick pace to the golf course. Arrived early and was able to play 18 in about 3 hours.

Course is really looking good. Owners have been updating and its in the best condition I've seen it. They had a frost delay the day we played and they even called me prior to our tee time to let me know.

Chip was very helpful. Our group came in and had the wrong tee time and he was able to squeeze us in and allow us to tee it up. Course was great, weather was great and we had a great time! Thanks to all at Seascape golf course for being understanding and giving us an oustanding round of golf for our buck!

This was a great course for the price. The staff was extra friendly. Easy to score low if you are a decent golfer

Any golfer who lives in the RTP area know this course is some what of a cow pasture and the green fees are too high for the conditioning of the course. We play there as a last resort. It is a shame they don't take care of the course because it is a nice little layout.

this course has a nice variety in both the topography and types of holes. most fairways are generous there are several tee shots where shaping your shot is important. there is also a couple of tee shots where driver may not be the smart play. the greens are extermely small the condition of the bunkers is vastly improved. the general setting is peaceful any houses that abutt the course set back far enough thatyou don't have the feeling that your playing between houses in people's back yards.although the total yardage is short enough shots play long avoiding the feeling that every hole is driver-short iron. only the condition keeps lake shore from being a fine course.

Staff was very friendly. Driving range is very cool because you hit ball into a pond! The course was not very hard, it was in poor conditions, yet it is January so I wasnt expecting anything great. Cart unfortinalty died on the 4th hole but the staff was great and brought out one right away. Would probably go back in the summer.

For a short, fun track this is the place to be. However, the course is in atrocious shape. If you are lucky you land in a good spot of grass, and the tee boxes are very poorly taken care of. The greens are fairly well manicured, however they are amazingly slow, they need to cut down some more. There is some fun hole, including a narrow driveable par 4. Bunkers aren't great either. Only come here if you can find a really good deal.

Generally, greens are good condition for public course, although it doesn't drain well after soaking. Fairways are thin and hard and challenging to hit consistently. Course layout is nice and have certain challenge on every hole. Overall, great value for rate and ease of ability to get tee times.

I had a good experience with the course and grounds. Not a sizzle kind of GC but I have no complaints. It is a good place to get in 18.

I LIKE THIS COURSE IT'S FUN TO PLAY. COURSE IS SHORT BUT NOT EASY. YOU MUST HIT ACCURATE SHOTS. I PLAYED AT 12:00PM. 12/03/2012 PACE OF PLAY WAS GREAT PLAYED IN 3.5HRS.(3SUM). ONLY WAITED ON ONE PAR THREE. STAFF WAS GREAT.

It's not perfect, but okay. Relative short range from tee to flag.

Lots of trees, narrow fairways, greens in great shape and fast.. Good condition for the day before Thanksgiving.

The moment I entered the pro shop I was greeted in a very friendly manner. I introduced myself and the clerk immediately acknowledged my tee time and directed me to the next available cart. He was very cordial and represented the golf course in a very professional manner. I would recommend this golf course to anyone in the area and/or anyone planning to visit.

Course is great value and nice challenge. Staff is super friendly and GolfNow is good value.

Its fun, cheap and gives you a little challange for any golfer. The only complaint is the greens have no consistency as far as speed and firmness. All 18 greens are different in that aspect which really messes with your putting. Some days the play is really slow and some days its play at your own pace.
Overall a good place to play. Ive played here around 10 times this year. New golf carts. (NO BEER CART) Bring your own beer and snacks.
