great course good shape good greens good price.It has a really good driving range.
Greens in great shape for this time of year
Requires shot making, challenging on some hole, need a way of letting players know pin placements..

This course is good for short game practice.
This course located in good spot in Durham. Little bit short distance for driver shot but good golf course to play for beginner and elder person. Money value wise this is a good course.
Fun course, slow greens.
Fairways were wide and fairly forgiving, lots of water (not unexpected for a course named for the lake it abuts). Groups are sent out ad-hoc and pace of play can be slow. Slower groups let faster groups play through (not always a given). The greens were slow but playable.
I'm looking forward to making it my regular mid-day practice spot.
Overpriced!
Someone once said, "If you don't have something positive to say about someone don't say anything." That doesn't apply to golf courses. This golf course is over priced. On wet days you should expect ball washers with rags to be available on most holes. NOT so here! Food choices limited to prepackaged sandwiches on cheap bread. And the staff is generally unreceptive. Running a golf course is a tough business these days, but discounting input from customers is not the way to encourage repeat play. Doubtful I'll return.
Forget it!
This course was in terrible shape. 1st time I EVER witnessed WEEDS on the GREEN! Sure they were cut low but very ugly & distracting. The ball washes were filled with either gross water or were entirely empty... with no towels. Disaster course.
I would believe this course was on it's was out of business.
