Wet but playable
The day was wet and the course handled it relatively well it’s in good shape for the most part. Greens were running true and quick.
Jammed up on back 9
The front nine went pretty smooth, primarily because I started at a lull. Once I made it through 6 things started to slow down. At the turn I came upon a threesome who was waiting on the fairway to clear and told me they had been complaining and waiting all day. I had to" build my own way "through the back 9 to keep a reasonable pace. Staff needs to be alerted and be proactive to make this better. Courses in very good shape over all. A nice walk in the park! There is so much water and green grass at times reminds me of Playing in Florida.. Pro shop should be more proactive for customers keeping social distance while checking in.
Slow play
Course is in good shape...however, not routinely using one cart per person. However, they supported our request this week not last week...We are all high risk categories for virus....There has always been slow play for the 13 yrs I have been playing here...so never my first choice to come here despite last 2 years been in the best shape it has ever been...A volunteer ranger would not be hard and would certainly increase revenue
Slow
Went out to play early(second tee time of the day) and thought it would be alright. Was I wrong! First got behind a group of three that eventually let me play through since I was single(only took 5 holes) and then I was met with the member shot gun or whatever it was at 9 am. I was not only slowed by one group, but multiple groups stacked with some being double teed, so I left, not finishing my round bc of the incredibly slow pace.
Beautiful course
Tea boxes fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Pace of play was slightly slow but not too bad. I have played here twice in the last couple of weeks and both times the starter was not very friendly. Seems like he is not a very happy person and he lets you know that. Other than that excellent time at this course.
Nice day on course
Course was in good shape as expected since I played it a week ago. Pace of play was incredibly slow on the back due to people from God knows where going off the back instead of the front making it extremely congested. There wasn't a ranger out on course to speed up pace or to make sure people were going off the correct 9. Other than that, course was in good shape, greens were true, fairways lush, and rough in good shape as well.
Wet
Fairways were very wet cartpath only all through out the course A lot of walking,, greens were good
Rainy, but good
Played in the rain unfortunately, and the course was switched to oath only, but its in good shape. Fairways are luscious(bit too much at times), but they are in great shape as are the greens. The greens played slow due to the rain, but overall the course was in way better shape than I remember from previous rounds.
Broadmoor
Retiree at the front desk needs people skills
Dick starter was awesome
Head guy in front office awesome
Will be back
Wonderful
Course is in great shape! Not a bad lie in the fairway, greens are perfect!!!
Disgusting
We are in a middle of a pandemic and no one was following safe guidelines. Workers in the Pro Shop were mmm or using any masks, there was no guidelines on distancing inside, there was a small sign on the putting green, no one was observing. I saw no one cleaning golf carts or using any guide lines. NC still have rules in place, it is scary when a business foes not adhere to the rules
Beautiful
As nice as I’ve ever seen around Western North Carolina.
Course is in fantastic condition.
Snack bar has really, good food. More than your run of the mill hot dogs that I’m used to elsewhere.
Greens are rolling smoothly, not a bad lie in the fairways at all.
Do yourself a favor, go check out Broadmoor! You will not be disappointed!!!
