While Fargo may be a small city, the food scene is rather large. BernBaum’s is a deli that brings together different cultures into a melting pot of warm, delicious foods. Indulge in a bagel with Lox: savory smoked salmon that will have you asking yourself why you’ve never tried it before. Sandy’s Donuts offers different types of homemade donuts and coffee that can make anybody’s morning fly by.

The streets of downtown Fargo are filled with history. Zandbroz variety is a store that sells everything from books, candles, pottery, and more. They express their North Dakota pride through the items they sell. Fargo theater’s neon sign is the most recognizable image in town. It was built in 1926 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

There’s a handful of courses in Fargo that range in difficulty. For the beginning golfer, their best bet is El Zagal Golf Course. It’s a nine-hole, par-three course that doesn’t have a lot of hazards and the fairways are wide open. They also have footgolf available to play which is a combination of soccer and golf.

Edgewood Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 course designed for the advanced golfer. They have an all-new practice area that opened in June of 2019, and has two putting greens plus a number of bunkers to nail down those perfect sand shots.
