MetroWest Golf Club

I had played the course a few years ago, and I remember a more well cared for golf course. I don't mind the occasional green that needs work or an occasional fairway that needs grass. However, MetroWest had very little grass in all the fairways and an abundance of holes and weeds on the greens rendering them truly not puttable.

Played Metrowest the past couple of days. Always a great layout and staff are great! Course is in ok shape. A few greens are in hard shape but overall a great value for your dollar!

It’s a shame how bad they have let this classic Orlando course get. Fair ways were in really bad shape and 1/2 the greens had dead/burnt grass on over 50% of the green. Definitely not what it used to be and I’d say anything over $30 to play is not worth it. Unfortunate considering this used to be a classic Orlando track

Tee boxes are horrible. Fairways are worse. Greens are unplayable. There’s nothing good about this course. To take people’s money to play this course is robbery. I would not play if free.

We played here around 4 years ago. While it was an ok track then today it is not. We paid $65 a person, I can honestly say it was not worth $6.50. The tee boxes are chewed up, the fairways a cow pasture and the greens between the weeds and the blight, virtually unplayable. For Golf Now to even have this course in their app is disgusting. I will not play here again. We were truly ripped off for the amount we paid. We quit at 9 and never looked back. Shame on Metrowest for taking our money, shame on me for letting them.

The course was not in good shape. I had played the course in May and the owners were making progress in improving the course, but yesterday the course was in terrible shape. Three of the holes (1, 10 and 18) had very little grass due to a fungus, but that was the bad news. The fairways, especially the front nine, had very little grass to the point you were basically playing on dirt. The staff (cart, beverage and pro shop) were friendly and professional. I won’t be playing this course anytime in the near future until I hear they have made significant improvements.

Sadly, one of my worst golf experiences of my life. The only things good here were the weather and pace of play. My buddy booked this and I will forever give him a difficult time of ribbing due to the conditions. We renamed the course MetroWorst in an attempt to keep a sense of humor about the conditions. We played here in May, and while a little rough around the edges, it was at least playable. What the heck happened??? The greens had large spots of dead or nonexistent grass. It was really hard to putt and definitely not consistently. It is such a shame because the greens used to be nice. The lack of proper fairways is a HUGE concern. I should not be rewarded for a nice drive by losing the ball in the fairway. That is simply ridiculous and it happened 3 TIMES. The fairway grass had not been mowed for who knows how long and there were WEEDS in places that came up to my calves...IN THE FAIRWAY. The rough was even worse. It honestly looks like an abandoned course. Just let it go if you cannot maintain it. I have seen cow pastures that looked better than some of the tee boxes. This course need seriously help, and quickly, or it needs to be shut down. As it is, I don't think repairs can be made without full closure and lots of money. This is such a shame because this was on my favorite courses to play in Orlando. I will not return unless I can be assured it has been taken care of as it needs to be. Please buy a lawn mower.

They ruined it. If you thought maybe they already ruined it a few years ago. Then now they ruined whatever that was 2 years ago. Now it’s like the nightmare version of the course that was the bad dream version of the course that used to be good. I cant describe how bad.its fraud for them to charge 45 bucks. It’s fraud for them to ask you at the end of the round how it was. You should be able to get 10 free punches for that. It’s a joke. Don’t go. Go anywhere else. Golf simulators are better. Honey do list is better.

Started off the club house was late to open, hole #1 was ok tee box was spotty with grass and dirt. The more we played the worse it got, balls were hit in the fairway and you couldn't find them due to the grass/weeds being so high...... the rough was ROUGH you had to step on the ball to find it one hole on the back nine looked like a construction work zone it should have been closed it was a few holes you couldn't tell the fairway vs the rough it all blended together. If I had to guess it looked like they were in between grounds keeper company's and nothing was done to the course for several days.

Front 9 hasn’t been kept up for weeks. We only played front 9 as it was worst course I’ve ever seen. The starter said the equipment was down and the course hasn’t been kept up. Told us people have been complaining to management and they don’t care. Honestly it should have been closed. I feel like it was a complete waste of money.

Losing balls in the fairway because of how badly it's currently maintained.

Course is in terrible shape, should not be open. Greens fair to poor. Can't tell the diffence between the fairways and the rough. Lost many balls that were hit to what should have been the middle of the fairway. Goose grass everywhere

Course was in terrible conditions with staff stating their lawn equipment was nonfunctional

This is a course that I want so badly to succeed. It just isn’t in good shape. From tee box to fairway to greens, it’s just not in good shape. I will probably not play again until it shows signs of recovery to past glory. Staff is great. Cart person passes by regularly. I like the lunch counter downstairs.
