Springdale Resort

Played all over South Carolina and North Carolina and Springdale’s greens yesterday were in the best condition I have seen at any course all year. They were probably a 9-10 and could easily and should be put to an 11+, but that is nitpicking. They were absolutely perfect!

It’s rare that slow play can wreck a round, but it happened. Completely unnecessary. A 4-some logjammed 6 groups behind them. The rest of the course was basically empty. Eye on the ball please

Drove over 6hrs to play here based off all the good reviews and the day started out well. That’s until we got about 6 holes in and hit a wall, waiting 20-30 mins between shots is absolutely Miserable and I gave up after 13 holes at the 4.5 hour mark. Beautiful course but absolutely dreadful pace of play and all the club house could say was “there were no back ups notified” Save your money and play somewhere else.

Course was in excellent condition. Back nine is a good bit tougher than the front. Views are outstanding.

What a fun course. The front side was kind of a sleeper but the back 9 with the Springdale Mile was a blast. Pace of play was perfect. Staff was friendly. I’ll be back.

Nice place, kind of out there. Putting green by the club house is just stupid. Not even use able. Carts were nice. The golf course. Not really even playable. So tricked up that the average golfer would shoot over 100. Especially if you have never played there, forget it. I golfed with a nice couple, he was a 10 hdcp and shot 90. The greens are unreadable, uphill is downhill and downhill is uphill. Some of the fairways slope so much that we both hit it right down the middle and could not find our golf balls. One hole on our second shot all we could see was 6" of the top of the pin. Just not a fun day of golf.

I love playing this course. Front nine is just a warm up for a challenging back nine. Course is great, staff is friendly and restaurant/bar is solid.

Absolutely worth the drive from the Asheville area. Super fun layout, well cared for. Greens roll true but were slow. Some really interesting holes, would like to play it again. What really makes this place great is the staff. I left my rangefinder on the cart, and Mike drove it all the way back to Asheville for me. WHO DOES THAT?! Would absolutely recommend.

Springdale was real nice course and was in good condition. Many beautiful views and the greens were in good shape. Would play again.

What a fun golf course to play! Went here based on reading reviews, and it was a very pleasant experience. Golf course was in wonderful shape fairways greens. All aspects were well-maintained. Front nine let you ease into the round with some fun playable holes, then you head up the mountain in the back with some target golf. Well worth your time to go play this wonderful track! Staff was incredibly nice and very welcoming, I will be back for sure.

Paid $75 and it was well worth it. I e played here several times and like the course but I don’t think it’s worth their “regular “ rates.

Pace of play was excellent and the course was in good shape.

We are on a family trip and wanted to play golf and saw this course! Was well worth it! Will definitely look to do a stay and play here with some buddies in the future!
