About

If you're sick of getting beat up and spit out by all the big-name, big-bite courses in the Palm Springs resort area paradise of La Quinta, Big Rock Golf & Pub at Big Rock Golf & Pub at Indian Springs could be the course for you.

This track provides a reprieve from the hacker battering. The design is pretty straight forward. Water only comes into play on two holes. The fairways are mostly flat.

Golfers can get into trouble in the desert areas bordering some holes, but as long as you're not too wild, the pain should be kept to a minimum. Big Rock Golf & Pub at Indian Springs is all about golf as a fun escape.

It's not a course that feels like it must make hackers prove something. The slope rating at this John Gurley Sr. design is 127 for men, 120 for women.

Great track

Big rock is an excellent condition this early in the year. The staff in the pro shop and restaurant made our day very enjoyable.

Well, done Big Rock crew!

Play it and you will rock it!

First day it opened after reseeding. Greens rolled really well tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. We definitely would play this course again. Track is not too difficult. We enjoyed the water features on a multitude of holes. Course is not too difficult, but very enjoyable to play.

Always a good deal

Course ,club and set up excellent. The cost is always very reasonable. Would be nice for the shop assistant to have some customer service skills. “There’s your ticket “ and then back to is phone???

Big Rock rocks

About my 5th time playing here and for the time of year this is the best it has been. Greens are rolling smooth and fairways are full and clean. Compared to other courses in the area right now it ranks near the top, particularly at its price point.

Little disappointed

We booked and did arrive an hour early as normally

Like to putt and hit some balls. No one playing

Ahead of us. We thought maybe we could get out a little earlier but nope. Guy said sorry need to wait.

It was high 30’s and maybe hotter. Almost quit

An hour earlier. Heat exhaustion! I get it we booked an hour later but seriously no one. Was golfing .

Anyway he kept us to our time. No one golfing

Not cool service. Use your head!!

Hate when they don’t notify you about punched greens

Courses should notify everyone when greens have been punched! Putting was nonexistent. No starter no marshal and communication from pro shop.
