Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Greens were absolutelya disaster … totally dead, and worst of all the course never mentioned it while making a tee time. Can’t believe Weston does business this way. Called the course later and left my number. They never returned the call.

Greens were awful and no heads up from GOLFNOW that the greens sere absolutly destroyed. If you go and read reviews you will see that i am not the only one complaining. Totally want my cash back. GOLF NOW THIS COURSE SHOULD HAVE BIG DISCLAOMER ABOUT PLAYING IT RIGHT NOW. Very dissapointed.

We were down for a week of golf and played the Westin course on Saturday. We were very disappointed to play and find out once we were done on the course that the greens were in bad shape. Apparently someone mixed the wrong items together and killed the greens . It would have been nice to know this ahead of time or at least before we reed off. Usually courses let you know that they have an issue before you start playing. Very disappointing

They killed off the greens in March. The rest of the course was nice. The greens were all dirt pretty much and hacked up. Suggest to avoid till greens come back. Sadly. We over paid to play this.

The course is really nice and was excite to play a round. First hole on green was surprising in a really bad condition. Almost unable to play the green.

Course was enjoyable, but the greens were in awful condition to being scorched from severe heat earlier in the season. Besides that, this resort and course are very enjoyable

The greens have almost no grass on them. Not sure what happened but they should let people know.

The greens were in very bad conditions, all of them.

Everything was wonderful, but the green was not good. whole courses green needs to be reseed or renovation.

All 18 greens were dead. Had to putt on dirt. Apparently someone used the wrong chemicals on the greens instead of fertilizer (that’s the story several employees were sticking to .). They are attempting a solution to the problem, but don’t know when it will be resolved.

The course was in very nice shape except the greens were terrible...Dead, a lot of sand, slow, bumpy, a real let down

Greens were in bad shape due to early spring heat and transition to summer grass, we played them as 2 putts max after getting on the green.

Greens all burned out would have been nice to know when booking. When they get this fixed it is a great place to play.

When I signed up got a message that due to recent hot weather course conditions may be unsatisfactory.

Couldn't find one review to see what was going on.

All parts of the golf course where in good condition, but every green was shot, burned up and terrible.

You couldn't putt worth a darn.

Nice course if the greens are in normal conditions.

Been playing down in the valley for over 25 years and haven’t ever seen greens in that condition. It’s not only the summer grass seeding, something else has caused these greens to be mostly dead grass and dirt. Worst ever and not worth the time
