Trash
First of all its not cart included its SHARED cart included. So if ur a single u may have to share a cart with a fat smelly dude. HotDeal price was reasonable and fairways and greens are pretty good. However the tee boxes and bunkers are a joke. Better than last year but still not great
3.7 out of 5 type of course. Hole 18 is the most nonsensical one out there. Either hit it on the green from 250 yards away or the ball rolls all the way back down the hill. Just plain stupid.
Surprisingly Good for money
Course layout fun and challenging. Staff was great and pace of play was good!
Great Layout
Mission Hills has a great layout for the average golfer. Open fairways allow for some off target shots you can recover from. For Southern California they have a good price that fits with their product. I will definitely play here again.
Hills and views
Had a great round on the 4th. Course is great and lots of nice views from a top!
The Golf Mission
This is a great spot we had a good tee time. We had a great piece of play the greens are running hot and fast overall great experience
Unacceptable Lack of Staff/Horrible Treatment
I booked a time for my teenage daughter and I to play through GolfNow. On Hole Number 1, our cart malfunctioned and we needed to wait for a new one. The people we were paired with did not wait for us. So right off this put us in an awkward position since there was a foursome of young guys behind us.
One hole 7, one of them thought it was funny to start heckling us like we were at the Waste Management open in Phoenix. Despite the delay with the cart, we were playing fast. And, even if we weren’t, we are happy to let people play through.
This abuse happened again at hole 10 and continued through the entire back 9. After several holes, I tried calling the pro shop since there was no marshal to be found. Despite repeated attempts to reach anybody to resolve the situation, nobody answered the phone.
Frankly, these people needed to be removed from the course and NEVER ALLOWED BACK. The problem was, there was nobody there to handle the situation at 6pm in June, when it stays light until almost 8pm. That’s just unacceptable.
There’s plenty of other mid or nicer golf courses in this price range that doesn’t attract such trashy clientele and is staffed better. From now on, I’ll go there.
Awful course, worse service
Showed up and got sent off as a single behind eight groups of juniors with no warning and no offer of a refund or rain check. Of course isn't bad condition and that's only makes it worse.
Greens make it worth jt
Same with other reviews, the greens are the saving grace. Fairways not bad but rough is in bad shape. Pace good and some interesting holes on the back.
Just "OK".
Front nine is a little boring but the back nine is much more interesting with nicer views. However, the conditions are a little disappointing for the price. Greens are mostly nice. Fairways are "ok" to poor. Tee boxes are mostly beat up. Staff is AWESOME! For $55+, I expected a little better.
I play mostly in the Inland Empire and in Palm Springs area. I seldom drive down to play in San Diego area. I usually get a better value in the IE and even in the Palm Springs areas.
Course inflation at its finest
I used to love this course, I have played here over 100 times. A few years ago it was the most affordable place to play for ur buck, you could actually play twilight 18$ for $30 or cheaper and the player card used to be worth it. It’s been going down hill in recent years and now it’s very expensive for honestly worse course conditions I have ever seen it in. They are charging close to $60 for a twilight weekday rate which is absolutely absorbed. The course is in no conidition to ever charge more the 60$ on prime time weekend… I don’t play here anymore because of the audacity of this place to over charge for a low-mid tier course.
