Woodcreek Golf Club

Little soaked in some areas but over all. Good conditions.

Very slow play ans course conditions were not good. They needed to mow...through was 4 inches thick around the green. Super wet in spot and super dry in spots. Not good.

It’s obvious the course superintendent and the team at Woodcreek have put a lot of effort into improving the conditions at this golf course, this improvement would include some of the bunkers as well. Earlier in the year, I would not have recommended Woodcreek, now I would.

Should have been a better discounts for playing on recently punched down greens.

In additions the greens had allot of damage as well.

Overall had a great time. Course was in better condition that last time I played but still lots of dead/bare spots in gateways. Greens not too bad. Pace was good…never waited or felt pressure from behind. Lost several balls that should have been easy to find, not even in the rough…just soft/bushy grass that hides balls too easily???

Classic course. Tee boxes much better this year than last

Would really like them to maintain fairways better. Especially 1 & 2. It’s not hard to clear range balls

People in tee shirts and street clothes on course. Range was closed at 830 am. Course had mud in fairways and overgrown weeds everywhere you looked. Greens has countless pitch marks never fixed. Not one flat tee box. Clearly the course has no money put into it. The free lunch was a pale cold hot dog we threw away. Not even a fountain drink with it. Place sucks and is trash.

Don’t know why this place gets such a bad rap. Nice picturesque course. They need to heighten their driving range nets or you should use a colored ball especially one the first hole

Good local course, need more water on course.. Greens in great condition.. Need to take down cart barrier last 100+ yards into #5 green. Very difficult for seniors to get down and up that slope.

We had a fun time at Woodcreek. The course was in decent shape. Hit a few good shots only to find an endless stretch of weeds ate it up. I forget the hole but a very natural spot to hit too was completely un-playable. I'm sure a good golfer would have been fine, but a little weed management would make the course easier to navigate for the novice.

This course is not worth your money. Take your hard earned dollars elsewhere. Tee boxes are trashed. Fairways are dirt patches. The course has a goofy tee time booking engine that requires you to prepay for your time and you have to cancel within 72 hours if you book online and if you try to call and cancel or modify your booking they tell you to go through GolfNow. Also don’t forget to return your cart key after your round or the course keeps another $5 off the top for a cart deposit.

It’s sad to see Wood Creek and diamond Oaks and such poor shape. I know they get a lot of play overall course looks terrible. I really need to get a nap out on the left side of the driving range. Greens are rough some blockers are completely destroyed. Played with a fun to have a great time. Just sad to see what looks like now compared to 20 years ago, the first part five is still gonna be the worst hole in Placer County.

Great layout. Fun course. Great practice facility. Very nice people in the pro shop. But I am still disappointed in the course maintenance. Ruffs are in desperate need of care. Fairways need some TLC. Greens were probably comparable to other courses in the area. Still, I stopped playing this course because of the conditions… probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Wish I could cast different. Really like the layout.

This is a great course, great price and the friendliest staff. I would recommend this course to everyone from beginners to advanced players.
