Woodcreek Golf Club

This course is not worth your money. Take your hard earned dollars elsewhere. Tee boxes are trashed. Fairways are dirt patches. The course has a goofy tee time booking engine that requires you to prepay for your time and you have to cancel within 72 hours if you book online and if you try to call and cancel or modify your booking they tell you to go through GolfNow. Also don’t forget to return your cart key after your round or the course keeps another $5 off the top for a cart deposit.

It’s sad to see Wood Creek and diamond Oaks and such poor shape. I know they get a lot of play overall course looks terrible. I really need to get a nap out on the left side of the driving range. Greens are rough some blockers are completely destroyed. Played with a fun to have a great time. Just sad to see what looks like now compared to 20 years ago, the first part five is still gonna be the worst hole in Placer County.

Great layout. Fun course. Great practice facility. Very nice people in the pro shop. But I am still disappointed in the course maintenance. Ruffs are in desperate need of care. Fairways need some TLC. Greens were probably comparable to other courses in the area. Still, I stopped playing this course because of the conditions… probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Wish I could cast different. Really like the layout.

This is a great course, great price and the friendliest staff. I would recommend this course to everyone from beginners to advanced players.

The grass in the rough needs to be cut, it’s too long and thick, very easy to lose balls if shot off fairways. The greens need to be fix, lots of puncture spots, definitely affects putting.

Love this challenging layout, always brings out the challenging shot options on many different holes. I've played this course for a couple decades now and this time around the fairways seemed to be plagued with random spots of no turf, this was disheartening to see & experience. The greens were in decent shape, would have been nice if they were blown off prior to playing.

All in all this is a lovely course that will challenge the most seasoned golfers. The proshop & Legends bar & grill are always magnificent!

The greens were in pretty good shape, especially for winter conditions.

Several of the fairways however were in very dilapidated condition as were the sides of the fairways.

Booked an 11:30 tee time thinking I’d be able to get through 18 before it got dark but ended up taking 3+ hours to get through 9 holes. No marshals worried about pace of play

This course just continues to go downhill all the grass is overgrown , lose at least a ball every other hole even good shots. Even if you're standing right on top of it you can't see anything bunkers are in terrible shape greens are okay most of the course in need of repair come on guys spend some of our money on making it nice again talk to many people that play every week and a lot of them are going to avoid Woodcreek for a while

Pace of play was extremely slow. Marshal was driving around but ineffective. Bunkers were in bad shape. Better stay out because it’s like hitting off packed dirt/cement. It’s a city course but still….fees aren’t cheap.

Unfortunately, Woodcreek should only be played if you cannot get a tee time somewhere else. I love golf, but a 5 1/2 round to play a mediocre course is not ideal. If there is one positive, I can honestly say the greens were in good condition.

Did not see Marshall in the 4 hours and 45 min it took to complete..Waited every hole from 10 - 17, started on 10 finally bypassed group in front of us, 3 holes wide open in front of them.2 hours to play 7 holes. Lastly Thunder and lightning within a couple miles for 2 hours, no instruction on weather we should be out there or not, made for a DANGEROUS situation!
