Golfer Reviews
Goat Track for 100 years
The staff was amazingly nice. First off they have no driving range. Second the putting green was unusable. I was hoping that the greens on the course would be nicer. Unfortunately, they were not much better. Honestly they should give every person that plays a temporary hitting mat they can bring with them because trying to find a decent lie in the fairway that isn’t mostly dirt was hard. They are so enthralled with the fact that the course has been there for a 100 years I would have thought they would put more time and effort into the conditions of the course. I wanted to love this course but even for $40 I was not happy with the course.
BABE
The front nine holes are still very bad but they are working on it. Back nine greens are much improved and its a fine layout . Short yardage but a very good test of all your skills. Most likely to return and check on the front nine.
☔ RAIN
I only played 8 holes because we were in thunder and lightning in the area but the course is in HORRIBLE shape one of the worst in the Tampa Bay area. 1 star beat up patchy greens sand everywhere around the greens hard packed sand in the traps. A very nice layout but i dont think i will be back
This course needs a lot of work.
The fairways and greens are in really bad shape. I used to play this course in the late 70s and early 80s and it was a fantastic course. I have not played it for the last decade and the course is really gone downhill.
Was in decent shape considering the drought condition
Horrible
Course was over booked. Greens were attrocious , fairways are not well kept. I wouldn’t even play here if it was free. Never will come back
Very okay
I got some sort of round discount on here and paid $42 for 18 holes with a cart. This course is only worth it with that discount. Fairways and greens have dead patches all over, cart paths are in terrible condition. The layout out is kinda fun but overall it’s an easy, wide open course. Staff was friendly and the food is priced fairly and the hot dog was solid.
Awful experience
Easily the worst golf course I’ve ever played. The course is a complete disaster, and the greens are rock hard and seemingly untouched by maintenance. The staff was nice, but everything moved at a snail’s pace. Save your money and play literally anywhere else. This round felt more like a donation than a golf experience.
Review
Pace of play was on the slow side due to several groups ahead of us as we were just a twosome....the course conditions were OK....greens were average, but the fairways needed lots of water.....weeds and bare spots dominated........
Uggghhhhh
Dirt fairway! Aim for the 3” rough if you want to hit off grass…So sad…..
Course is meh
This course used to be super nice and needs work everyone on staff is great and friendly. Conditions need work and greens are hit or miss.
