Golfer Reviews
Great Course
Typically it is one of my favorites. In the past the course is in great shape. The tee boxes and fairways we good. The greens were terrible. I was definitely very disappointed.
Really enjoyed this course
I think this is the best course I have played in the northwest portion of Mariopa county and I have played many of them. I wish it were more affordable during the cooler part of the year but such is life. I really like the fairways, thick grass that held the ball up a bit which helped me hit my fairway woods. I moved up to the brown tees and just had a great time. The greens had been punched and had some burn spots but overall were still rolling nicely. Lastly I enjoyed the bunkers, raked and good sand, so even though a tough course it was very fair.
They lost the greens
I've never seen the greens this bad at trilogy. Unfortunate.
Great summer Course
The condition of the course was fantastic. Tea boxes were in good shape. Fairways were in good shape. Greens were running good, but there was several of them that were a little bit patchy. Other than that, the Pace of play was good and had a lot of fun.
Was hoping for more
Overall layout was good, pace of play was good. I called about course conditions a couple of days ahead of reservation and was told the course had been aerated several days ago. I was told the greens were pretty good with a little sand, this was very miss leading. The greens were in very rough shape, if it wasn’t for the green sand they use, most greens would have looked 1/3 dead/barren, the grassy areas were very slow and bumpy. Had high hopes but overall was disappointed.
captkg
Normally this is a good course to play but today the green were borderline unplayable. Most of the green had lager areas with no grass and when you did get a putt on grass it was extremely bumpy and slow. The bunkers were awful as well. However, the tee boxes and fairways were good condition. I would save your money and not play here until they get there greens back.
Trilogy
Course was in good shape considering it is summer in Phoenix. It is a great layout and very scenic. Great time to play before it fills up in the fall.
Greens were the worst I’ve played on that weren’t freshly plugged. Several dead rough spots. $65 over priced considering the greens. Tees, fairways & rough were great as akways
This course does not value their customers
I was very excited to play this course again. Unfortunately, playing as a single, I ran into a couple of groups of employees that were playing. One group of young men offered to let me play through. After waiting on the next group of employees, I finally asked to play through. I was rudely told no by the older man playing with two young men. All were employees. He not only played slow, he took the time to instruct the boys, all the while, I’m sitting there waiting. Not only is this incredibly rude, but he isn’t teaching these young men golf etiquette. I called and spoke with the Pro Shane who did nothing but defend the employee. Will not return here as their customer service is atrocious. Side note, the cart girl was very kind and helpful.
Could be better
Greens were a little bumpy and slow, fairway is struggling. Everyone is dealing with the same issues in the summertime not worth what they’re getting.
Always go to course as single and have always met and played with really nice people. It is my favorite course in the valley. Location is perfect for me, as I live across the street.
Course is recovering from aerification, but other than a few areas of standing water from the extra water being applied it was in great shape for mid-summer.
