Blue Sky Golf Club (formerly known as Mill Cove Golf Club), which opened in 1990, is an Arnold Palmer Signature golf course located in the heart of the Jacksonville golfing community.
Blue Sky Golf Club has wetlands and marsh areas, tree-lined fairways and native bunkers.
The par-72 golf course measures 6,784 yards from the longest tees. The course rating is 72.1, with a slope rating of 130 on Bermuda grass.

Trash course
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this course was so bad I feel like people deserve a warning. The condition of this place is absolutely embarrassing. The greens? I’ve never seen greens this destroyed. They’re patchy, bumpy, dead in spots, and downright unplayable. Calling them “greens” is generous—they’re more like sand traps with weeds.
For the price they charge, it’s a complete joke. You expect at least halfway decent conditions, but this course looks like it hasn’t seen proper maintenance in years. I wouldn’t play here again if it was free. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

Mediocre
Wet from previous days so cart path only. First time players have no idea of layout or location of hazards. No picture of holes at tee box, on scorecards, nor is there a playbook available from pro shop. Hole-by-hole on website that could be seen on phone would be useful. Fairway condition iffy and should be LCP. Greens were mostly okay with some patching repairs in progress on a few. Got around in four hours as a 3-some, which is not bad with foursomes on the course and cart path only. Of note: the driving range (matts only) is closed Monday mornings until 11am.

Not worth the Money
I paid $70 on a Saturday morning to play this course and it was a rip off. The front 9 was sloppy and wet from rainfall with poor drainage while the back 9 was okay for drainage but greens front and back overall were terrible. Their were many greens that had been patched, many bare areas and clumpy. The only thing I see going for this course is the Top Tracer golf range and clubhouse, that's it. Don't waste your money or time playing this course. You will be disappointed.

Save time and money
Horrible is all that needs to be said, course has went down hill so fast

Unique layout
The course is adjacent to Craig airfield and has a unique layout. They have a variety of holes with water along with some tight driving areas. A few of the greens are in bad shape with bare spots but overall the roll nice. The value was too high vs. the condition.

Great course
First thing is you have to understand they have put a TON of work into this course to get it where it’s at and they aren’t quite done yet. There’s a few greens that need a fair amount of work. That being said the course is beautiful and very well kept. The clubhouse is outstanding with great food, the driving range is state of the art with launch monitors at each bay. Food and drinks were not overpriced. Pace of play was kind of slow. Felt like the longest round of golf Iv ever played but not because they were insanely backed up, just took a while to get through the course. All in all a great experience. I do think the green fees are a bit pricey. It’s a very forgiving course. So for 50$ I expect the greens to be in great shape but I’m sure it will get there with time. This course was very fun and very forgiving with lots of little challenges.

Pleasantly surprised
Came into today's round thinking the worst after reading the reviews. Was pleasantly surprised by the condition and playability. 16 of the greens were good and the other 2 need a little work but were playable. Plenty of grass everywhere and plenty of mowing and trimming going on. I read the reviews and fully expected a trashy, dead golf course made up of dirt and weeds but it was good. Good enough to get more of my money because I will return. And a starter during the week is always a plus.

Good Day
Had a good day playing, but course needs work. Half the greens are bare and patchy. Cart paths are rough dirt and broken concrete. Practice range is excellent and staff at check-in and bar are very outstanding and professional.

So slow
No matter when you play this course is always super slow, I hate slow play. Expect 5-6 hours

A couple of years ago this course was really improving, but now the greens are rough and impossible to play. I won't be coming back anytime soon.
