Staff very welcoming great course some beautiful holes

People who play a lot of public courses in town know that Siena and Arroyo are 2 of the very best. They don’t close for overseed which is amazing. The course is still better than most during the over seeding process they stay open for. It’s really incredible. Greens are 90% right now and fairways are about 80%. Still better than most places in town and reasonably priced

Greens were reasonably fast, pace of play was 5 1/2 hours. In all fairness all the private courses closed and they packed to all the public courses. Needs Marshall on the course. Twosome in front was practice putting 4 to 5 times every hole. They got butt hurt when we asked them not to. Bottle water is $3.00.

It's descent course would not be my go to.

For the price, the course should be in better condition. Fairways can be bare in spots, different types of grasses make it troublesome at times to get a good lie in the fairway. Overall decent though. Tee boxes are pretty tore up in some spots, not all. Greens are cut good and faster than you’d think but quite a few ball marks on a lot of the holes, especially the par 3’s. It’s a good course, just overpriced for the conditions mentioned above.

This is a great course although pretty overpriced for what it is. I’m a local player and enjoy playing here but paying $120 is pretty steep. I can’t imagine paying over $300 to play as a non-resident.

The greens are in good condition. Some of the fairways had spots under repair but overall a great value.

This course was in the worst shape I have ever seen. Fairways and rough have tractor marks, patchy grass, and dirt. Greens were punched and sanded. Zero sand in bunkers. They are still charging premium price without saying anything about condition of course. In its current condition I would generously say this course is unplayable for the next 6-8 weeks. I golf every week and will not be spending any money at this course for a very long time.

I called the Friday prior to making a tee time on a Monday afternoon. I was told the course tee sheet was wide open for Monday afternoon and that the rate is $70. When I arrived to check in for my 1:06 tee time I was told the rate is $80. Siena and Arroyo do dynamic pricing which I feel is a ripoff. I can understand their reasoning during the winter when tee times are limited, but to raise the rate in the summer when they literally only have about 10 golfers on the course is ridiculous. I told the guy at the front desk that if they want to do dynamic pricing I should be able to offer $20 to $50 to play. He said they can't do that. Therefore, it is only dynamic in their favor.

Siena in the summer afternoon is a $50 course at best

My brother lives her half the year and cannot get IDs in two states. I booked the time for resident rate paid for both demanded to see both IDs I explained that he lives here in winter only and Ohio in the summer.

That has never happened on any course I’ve played in Vegas and that would be dozens. I feel if you’re a resident and bring a guest they should get the rate. I’ll just mark Siena off my list. Course doesn’t warrant $275.

I realize that in the winter months they can raise the rates because the tee times are limited. If that is the case I should be able to go there in the heat of the summer and negotiate a rate that is in my favor. Let’s say $50.

Simple as, the guy running the show at the time was way in over his head and extremely rude to several golfers checking in, maybe trying hiring more staff and not be so tight on margins??

The young checkin staff working the morning of July 4th was incredibly rude and unfriendly.. it really soured my overall experience of the course. English is not my first language and when I asked him to speak a little slower so I could understand better, he responded by yelling and being curt. The course itself was fine but feels standard for Las Vegas. I will say the starter was much friendlier and explained the course layout when I told him it was my first time here. I golf 5-6x/week every week and golf in Vegas maybe 15-20 days out of the year and its hard to decide to return here or recommend others after my experience, especially when there are many similar courses for better prices.

Course conditions are great, layout very good, the sand traps are crushed rock, which takes some time getting used too. Pace of play was 4 1/2 hours. Drinking Water on every other hole on the front nine no drinking water water on the back nine which was strange. Would definitely recommend this course.
