Wow this was once a great course but they let the early summer drought kill the greens .so bad front 9 was closed paid 15.00 was not worth it we did not finish the back 9 .Greens where a mess .an easy fix but no one did a thing to save the greens hire me lol .

They have given up maintenance of this course completely. The fairways were 4-8" deep. The roughs were 2-4 ft. deep. The greens looked like sand traps or had grass that was 2+ inches long. I used to frequent this course, but I will never come back. 1 star because it wont let you put 0. Even at $18 its a total ripoff of what was once a decent course.

Beautiful back 9 but course is in very bad condition.

Used to like this coarse I couldn’t believe how bad it has gotten until I golfed it. Terrible isn’t bad enough !!!!!!!

This course hasn't been maintained for years. Greens were non existent . Would be a great course if it is maintained. Has been abandoned for years just mowed the fairways for the first time in ages. Used to be a good course but now nothing traps are overgrown. Too bad it could be a very good place to play.

I'm glad I paid $13 not to play. Drove up and thought the course was closed. Fairways hadn't been mowed in in couple weeks. This was the best course in hernando county for years. The past 5 years this course has gone down hill. I hope they get the proper people to bring this great course back to its greatness.

Possibly the worst course conditions I’ve ever seen. Sand and bare spots on ever green. The grass in the rough is knee deep. The course has the potential to be amazing. But it is so poorly maintained I will not be back until they make some major changes

1) Front nine was closed. Did not find this out until we arrived.

2) After 2 holes, my water-resistant shoes were soaked through and I was not in the rough.

3) Only played 9 holes due to couse condition.

Club pro was very nice and we chatted for a while. He believes that the course may have been sold and improvements should be coming after August or October. Can't remember which month he said. Will check again later in the year.

It's a great course when it's in good shape.

This use to be one of my favorite places to play. I haven't been for over a year.

We were concerned on why it was a discount.

The front 9 is completely shut down.

The back is soo bad. Ruff ha more like playing in Scotland as its waist high. And no grass on the greens.

I hope they get something going soon or I can see it shutting down.

I usually dont post negative comments but I feel compelled this time. Where do I start, the front 9 was closed and we were told to play the back 9 twice. We pulled up to the tee box and the weeds were overgrown and could barely find a place to t up the ball. It got worse from there. The greens were mostly hard packed dirt with minimal grass. This continued on every hole. I wish I had taken pictures. I lost two balls that were hit to the middle of the fairway but because of the grass height, we couldn’t find the balls. There was no mention of the condition when we checked in only that the front 9 was closed. I love this course but if they started today it would be months before it would be worth playing.

Hands-down, the worst course I’ve ever played in my life. Some of the tea boxes were not even cut. The fairways weren’t cut. The greens are in horrible conditions. If you don’t hit in the fairways every time you can almost guarantee losing that ball. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because every time I play I tell myself I will never go back and this was the absolute worst course I’ve ever seen in my life. I can’t believe they charge people to play here. It literally looks like a course that has been abandoned. Do not waste your time or money. I couldn’t even finish 18 holes. I left after nine cause I was so disgusted. PS Golf now please take this off your site and refund me my money for this atrocity. Can’t believe I wasted $70.

Don’t spend your money. I can’t believe that golfnow hasn’t removed this course from their list. If you must play golf go hit some plastic balls around your yard. I guarantee it’s better.

the worst course and waste of money I have had in 40 years of playing golf. This sand patch has probably had zero maintenance in a year. No grass on what suppose to be greens, only sand, the sand traps are filled in with dirt and weeds, fairways suck, and my golf clubs had to be washed when I got home in order to get the sand and mud out of them. My shoes were so dirty I just threw them away. When I arrived at 7 am I was in the pro shop and was told I could only play the back nine twice, because the front was under maintenance, this course should be closed until it becomes a golf course again. Also, my son and I could not take more than 6 holes and then we left totally disgusted and never saw any maintenance people out there for 75 minutes we were there.With my son I spent a total of $74 for nothing. I would like a refund, if anyone cares from management please reply and I will call you.

It was Saturday golf but slower with only the 9 holes. Starter was great getting us out and around for 2nd 9. Greens are rough but rest of course is fine. Probably better pace of play during the week or afternoons

Had to play this course 2 years ago and was great, now, not so much. Greens are bad at the best, fairways are in bad shape also, however, the signature holes are still a good offer to visit the course.

Played there yesterday, front nine closed, back nine unplayable.

This course should not be charging anything and in reality, should be closed. Do not waste your time or gas. Dirt greens with maybe a postage stamp of grass. VERY SAD!
