Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course

Really had fun playing this course for the first time. It was in great shape and you can see that it will get better as the greens heal more and the fairways and rough get trimmed to standard (I would have liked to have seen more roll out). Greeted well, check-in was smooth, cart guy was helpful as was the starter. Got some good insight before my first tee shot. Greens were a bit tricky - no real flat spot, always had to figure out the break.

The “Teal” markers made it a tough but fair 6200 yards, and the gps in the cart was to the flag (which was handy). Plan on going back to see if I can improve on my 76. Left some birdies out there just because I didn’t know the course and its tendencies.

Definitely recommend spending the cash and the time to enjoy this course.

This is a nice course, great layout. Very playable, good challenge to all golfers. This course is a little pricey for the condition. Once it greens up should have better astetics.

I liked the overall layout of the course and the surrounding mountains were great to look at. The course was set to close a few days after we played it for overseeding purposes so most of the fairways had been mowed down pretty tight and the greens were probably not as fast as what they would normally be, still playable and worth the price paid. I would like to play it again under normal conditions.

Second time playing. Course in nice shape. Greens were fair. Beautiful views. Had a nice, fun round.

Most enjoyable course in the Coachella Valley. Fabulous scenery, terrific layout, great conditions and a fair test regardless of handicap. Played many times and always the same, terrific experience. Yesterday we completed our round in 3.5 hours and seldom more than 4 hours. Staff are friendly and helpful. You should play it!

The course is not that difficult however the views are exceptional and of course layout is very good. Well worth the money and I would play it again.

The golf course was very brown and dry. They also sent myself and my wife out as a twosome and we were stuck behind two very slow groups and no Marshall around to deal with the issue. We were meeting the group in front of us on every tee box.

The course is in remarkable condition given the time of year. The staff were friendly and helpful, including the Pro Shop staff, Marshal and restaurant server. Even the course maintenance staff were attentive, pausing equipment when taking shots.

I thought the course was super maintained was in great shape and I really enjoyed my round of golf. People were super friendly. Had a great time. I will definitely go back.

1st time playing in the desert in Sept. The greens were very slow. Probably rolling about 7. Much better conditions in the winter season. They were getting ready to shut down for overseeding which probably explains the condition of the putting surfaces
