Crow Creek Golf Club
About
The course is owned by Jerry McLamb and built on his 500-acre family homestead. The front picks its way through old tobacco fields and vegetable gardens, and its flatness makes it susceptible to the coastal breezes that kick up in early afternoons. There is both bunkering and mounding, though both are subtle. The back nine winds through Carolina woodlands, and has a different feel with tree-lined fairways and rolling contours. The strongest stretch of holes on the course is from No. 15 to the closing hole. Overall, the course is a well-groomed, playable layout with large, bentgrass greens and a pleasing, traditional layout.
Crow Creek has made a name for itself among Brunswick County's 30-plus golf courses by supplying golfers with a playable, well-groomed layout replete with airplane hanger sized L93 bentgrass greens and sensibly designed golf holes.

Course
Course I good shape, friendly staff ,would play again
Good layout good conditions
Crow Creek GC is in very good condition and a fun layout. Staff is friendly and they have an excellent restaurant
Cold Day
Very nice course with a great GolfNow value. A usual backup on a chilly day which surprised me. Still got the round done a little over regulation. Great course and extremely friendly staff.
Enjoyable day
Early season golf but the fairways and greens in good condition
Horrible pace of play
Cart path only due to over seeding fairways. They still over booked tee times, regardless. Payed for 18, only played 13 because it got dark. 2hrs 40mins for 9 holes. Not acceptable
Dissappointed!
This is one of our favorite courses in Myrtle Beach/Calabash area, have played here often. This year we were very disappointed with the condition of the greens. They were slow and bumpy with many areas lacking grass, and tons of unrepaired ball marks. They were the in the worst shape of any of the courses we played. This is considered an upper tier course in the area, greens should be in better shape.
Great track but two weeks after punching the greens were not great
Overall great track. Course in great shape except the greens were pretty bad. Granted they punched two weeks ago but honestly I played other courses around that punched 6 days ago and they were in much better shape. I would have disappointed if I paid full price but got a good “hot deal” price.
Chantel!
We had major downpours on holes 10
And 15. This course was in great shape and the greens were rolling so true. I would recommend if you can play it that you do.
Unfortunate
This use to be one of the nicest courses in the area. Arrived and the cart attendants were talking to someone and never walked up so I grabbed them (Not a big deal). Went out and tee boxes and fairways were in fair condition. However, I cannot say the same for the greens. They were in pretty poor condition at best with the exception of a couple. It has been about two years since I played this course and it use to be in prime condition, sad to see it like this.
For $127 round on the weekend I would not recommend.
I have played there a few times and found the bent grass greens are usually not in good shape in July. They are a cool weather grass and have been much better in January when I’ve played there.
