The Amelia River Club

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the amenities were above average, including the driving range and grill. The course had a nice layout with interesting holes. However, I was disappointed in the course conditions. The greens were very good, but some of the tee boxes and fairways were thin. The grass around the greens was often lumpy and inconsistent, making chipping a challlenge, and some traps needed more sand. There were areas off some of the fairways with little to no grass. There was no water on the course, but a cart person made regular rounds.

Bottom line is I am surprised at how highly the course is rated, and given the price and so-so course conditions, I was rather disappointed.

Such an amazing course! It was our first time out and the winds were 20-30 mph the entire time. Had a blast and will be back. Shot my lowest yet from the blue, 79.

My wife and I really enjoyed playing Amelia River. The course was in really good shape after all the rain we have received. The staff were exceptional and I would definitely play this course again.

The course was under water on a lot of holes, cart path only. That being said, the course was beautiful the layout was very playable. Would love to play it when it's dry. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when asked a question. Definitely going back.

Great staff course is very, very nice and manicure. We go there as often as we can.

Saturday afternoon 3pm tee time. Went out 15 minutes early as tee box open. Caught walking twosome on 17. Very good shape especially for end of summer. Greens ran very nice for 4 weeks after aeration. Firm and relatively fast (ball ran out well)

Definitely worth it at that price point. Staff was really nice and helpful being my first time there.

I typically play across the street at the muni course but for a few extra $$ worth taking this in.

We got a GolfNow hot deal for $72 which is pretty much the bargain of the century. The staff was friendly as always, the greens were in amazing shape. The fairways were a little scratchy in a couple of places because it looks like they might’ve just done some maintenance on them, but there were still virtually no bad lies.

If you’ve never played here, get here as soon as you can, and if you can find a GolfNow hot deal for less than 100 bucks, sprint, don’t walk to play this course.
