Recreation Park 18 Golf Course

Greens in fantastic shape, fairways just as nice when my ball found them.

The practice greens were great. The greens on the course were a different matter. Needs a lot of work. People please fix your own ball marks!

Teed off at 1:40 and played in 4 hours. Greens were rough on many holes, as well as tee boxes. Fairways were ok for this time of year.

The fairways were in good shape; the greens have a lot of brown spots and could not be said to be in good shape.

Due to either water pump or irrigation system problem, 6-7 holes of back nine were totally emerged with tremendous water covering whole holes at least a half foot of water. Dangerous. We had to stop playing, but they don’t care and no rain check due to county policy. But they should keep the course playable. It’s their responsibility

I can’t believe how much this course has gone to crap. The layout is pretty good the fairways are in good condition but the tea boxes and the greens are complete crap. There is zero maintenance on either of them. So I pretty much am not gonna be playing here unless it’s some ridiculously cheap hot deal from GolfNow. Otherwise don’t waste your time right now.

Rec Park continues to be one of the best value plays in LA. A great layout with some challenging holes on the front 9. Play was extremely slow, the group ahead of us was over a hole behind and not a single Marshall to be found. The cart girl was great, the snack bar at the turn were fast and quick. The starter was nice and let me play in an earlier tee time, even though the young lady at the check-in said there weren't any single spots open, but the next 5 foursomes had only three players.

A marshal to move slow play along would go a long way here.

Played first tee time on Father's day and it was a wonderful day. The course was in good condition, and the pace of play was excellent.
