Staff was very friendly... and greens were good, but everything else was sub par. Cart paths are so bad, two of us in our foursome hurt their back while riding in our cart. One had to quit and go home after nine holes. Tee boxes were rarely flat and on many of the holes, you could not put a tee in the ground because it was so hard. Fairways were so firm on some holes, vibration from the ground went into the shoulder. Pace was slow. No Marshall or cart girl was ever seen. And good luck finding the 10th tee box.

Perhaps in another area of the country with fewer choices, I may have rated Colonial Charters higher, but with all the options in the Myrtle Beach area, we won't be returning here. The greens were incredibly slow, the cart path was bone jarring, and the first impression, #1, with no range to warm up, was ridiculously tight. The staff was very friendly, but you go to a golf course to golf, and with today's technology and knowledge, there's little excuse for greens to be like they were.

Had a great time. Fairways for a little bit narrow for my game. Lots of opportunities to hit every club in your bag. Greens and tea boxes were in pretty good shape.

First time playing this course today. Staff was very friendly and the course is in decent shape. Enjoyed the challenge and the layout. Although I did get lost trying to find the 10th tee. Had to ask for directions. Some of the cart paths need some work, but in all it was very nice for the price. Will be playing again.

Conditions were not the best compared to other Myrtle Beach courses, but the layout was fun to play. There was no driving range to warm up but that’s okay. It’s a great value Course and they included 2 drinks and a sleeve of TP5’s. Don’t play it if your picky about conditions.

Great Bang for your buck. Staff was super friendly and pace of play was great. October promo gave you a sleeve of TP5s and 2 drink vouchers. They advertise unlimited range balls but no longer have a driving range. Other than that, decent course to get in a quick 18.

This was the first course I was to play for the 2025 World Am tourney so I played a practice round. The people were great, but the course was in very poor shape. Greens were slow, tee boxes and fairways a mess. I'm told they are closing this course and that might not be a bad thing. The layout was a good one that would be really a treat to play if the course was in decent shape. Bottom line is that everyone who played it called it a "dogtrack."

From my experience in the myrtle Beach area, it’s hard to find a course slow enough to enjoy a round with my 10 year old son. From the moment you get to the clubhouse you feel relaxed, no un needed sense of urgency to hurry up. I use to take my son to carolina shores. Since they closed we have been on the hunt for our new course and we found it! Love it at colonial charters and so will you!

Very enjoyable course. Not too difficult for my wife and me.

Cart paths are all torn up. No signage in the neighborhood about where the clubhouse is located.

Everything about this course, great place to start my golf vacation,!

The starter sent the group to ten due to the outing on the front nine. We were fortunate that one of the locals acted as our tour guide, it's a long trek through streets and path to get to ten, a long par three over water, playing whites.

The course was in decent shape, not the fastest greens, and the houses not really in play.
