About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Great course, well kept greens and fairways

Absolutely awful!! Stay away!!
Booked a 9:40 tee on Saturday for 80$$ wasn’t expecting much (booked late, only course with times available(SHOCKER)) should have know better. Pulling in you could see the carts backed up 10 deep on the first tee with only more on the way. Teed off 20 minutes later than scheduled. By hole 2 there were three sets of golfers all on the same hole. By the first par 5, FIVE groups (including us) on the same hole. Completely unacceptable. Called in by the 3rd hole to ask what our options were for refunding. ‘Pro’ told us we could only get rain checks. Felt like we got swindled. Course was a fine layout, greens were in awful condition, little bit over grown. Definitely out of shape with god awful ownership and management
Ownership should be ashamed
I have played most of the courses in the area and will have to say the greens on the front are without doubt the worse I have ever been on. It should be a crime to charge what they are charging to play. I would rather putt on the parking lot because that would be better. In yrs past my wife has enjoyed that course but I can promise that was the last penny that course will ever get from me.
fun course
fun course but due to dry weather greens were not like last time we played.
Hope to see better conditions as summer comes upon is.
unimpressed
from the road the course looked well manicured. when we played the first hole the greens had been sanded. this should have been told ahead of time. the fairways were good even though there is a drought at the present time. the tee boxes were not kept in good order. the layout was a good course layout. it still was a good day but not what was expected.
A Little disappointing this time around
I have always loved this course and play it several times when in the area. The course has a nice layout however this time around the greens were in terrible condition and the fairways are starting to burn up. It's not normal for this course so hopefully a little rain will improve the conditions. I'll be back in October and will play it again as it is one of my favorites. Hoping things improve by then. Updated review to follow.
Mediocre
The greens had been sanded, some of the tee boxes were pretty rough. Staff was friendly and the fairways were good. I also understand that they are in a drought in the area.
Nice course, great staff
The course has a very nice layout but there are a couple holes that are very tough trees in the way of your approach shut makes a par 4 play like a par 5, great staff, the greens were in very bad condition
