Beachwood Golf Club

If I were a local, I'd play here at least twice a month. This was a great course to start my journey back into golf. The holes were forgiving, yet approachable. The pace was a little slower than I'd expected, but I'll chalk that up to heat/fatigue and severe rain the day prior forcing the 90 degree rule. The greens were in great shape and read almost true to line. Thanks for having us!!

Course was in good shape but the Bermuda greens were slow and I had a hard time adjusting to the speed. But staff were very friendly and pace of play in the afternoon was excellent.

Didn’t play. There was thunder and lightning and they pulled everyone of the course.

A return of my fees would be nice.

Very nice course for the price. Was a single golfer who got paired up with a twosome for a 6:52 a.m. tee time.Pace of play was great never caught the guys in front of us, and never had anybody pushing us from behind. Greens were a little slow in the morning. When we finished at 10:00 a.m. they had sped up a little bit, so definitely hit your putts harder than you think. Driving range was mats only but nice to be able to swing before the round. Very enjoyable layout, minimal ground under repair but what they had they were working on repairing. Would definitely play again.

Very laid back. Never felt we were pushed. The course and conditions were fine. Staff was great.

This is a super fun course to play relatively easy compared to other courses in the area, however, there are 2 to 3 very difficult holes, which makes the round very fun. What stood out to me was how friendly everyone who worked there was.

First time playing here since we were vacationing a mile away. I made a t-time for noon but the weather was showing early afternoon showers. I called and asked if I could get out any earlier and they immediately accommodated me. When we arrived at the course, somehow they already knew my name and took my bags. On the second hole, the Marshall let me know we. Old observe 90° rule (was previously cart path only because of rain the previous night.). Everyone was very kind and pleasant.

The course played well. Conditions were good to great- really just a few tee boxes that were in bad shape, but otherwise all the greens, fairways and bunkers were well taken care of. I was a single behind a group of three who wouldn’t let me play through on the back nine, but since the pro shop got me out early, I didn’t complain. Finished in exactly 4 hours. (20+ handicapper here).

I really enjoyed my round and would be happy to play here again next time I’m in North Myrtle!

Really fun layout and and all around great course to play!

Breezewood offers golfers of various levels a pleasant round of golf. Staff are first-rate. The snack bar is very nice. The on-course restrooms are well -situated. The fairways can be rough, and some of the greens have inserts of turf around them. Some of the paths are not in the best state of repair. This round took two days due to the violent thunderstorm that interrupted play on the first day. I enjoy this course a lot and will play it again.

Course was fun to play. It was a little brown and and dried out. However, they have been in dry, drought like weather. I would play it again.
