About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

summer in south florida
started hot and humid and progressed to a lightning storm but in between we got 14 holes in and the course by no means tourney ready has improved
Needs lot of work
Greens terrible rough was terrible needs cut grass
Condition going downhill
Tee boxes are unkempt, not mowed, long grass and weeds, same for the rough, fairways are very iffy, greens are terrible, bumpy, little to no grass. Awful condition and obvious to me, that they are not doing the maintenance.

Parts of the xoirse
The course really needs tending to. High grass on the several tee boxes. Charged me additional cost to ride in cart by myself. The greens were all jacked up. Several rough patches of dirt throughout.
Poor conditions
This course was never in the best of shape but after playing my last round I will not be coming back. You can't put up an honest score because the greens are horrific. They let this course go completely. Don't waste your time book elsewhere. Its not even worth 20 bucks.
Needs work
Golf course has fallen to poor standard. Most greens needed work and lost balls in high grass just off the fairways.
Great price for people looking to get q quick fix
Pricinh is extremely low, but that does not mean its a steal.
You are paying for what you get.
Im a newbie golfer so this course is perfect for me, very wide fairways, Interesthing course layout and a difficulty level that is fair for any level golfer.
The grounds are a bit rough and the putting greens are more of dirt and patchy brown grass, the roughs were a bit higher and balls got lost extremely easy.
Will continue playing until im a bit more experienced and can go to courses that have homes and traffic close by, as i do hit the ocassional ball a bit wider than i would like.
Tough sell
The only part of the course they maintain is the fairways. The tee boxes, roughs, and “greens” are in atrotious shape. We played the better of the two condition wise - cannot even begin to imagine what the other side looked like. About 75 percent of the greens resembled this picture
Greens need improvement
Although I liked the course layout and each hole it’s nice to play once you reach the green all your expectations go down the pipe! Not worthy!! First and Last time playing it!b

I can’t believe how it change this course in a few months! The green are very bad. The grass its to hight. Very dificulte to play golf in this course.

Drink then play Golf
This course is OK. Not the best if you want to play serious. Not the friendliest if you want to make friends. Clearly people come here to drink and then there is golf. The bar, eww and bathroom, mold!?! You seious!? the bartender, did her job right. polite and friendly.
I’ll return with my drinking buds but not for serious golfing. Make the 18th hole a Par 5 again, please?
