Eco Golf Club

About
Located in Hollywood, Eco Golf Club boasts one of the most beautiful executive courses in south Florida. The course offers the challenging design features of a full-length course in a convenient nine-hole layout. It is the perfect option for golfers who don't have time for a full round but still want a challenging game. Accuracy will be greatly rewarded as well as the ability to putt to narrow, undulating greens. It is a great opportunity to get in some quality iron practice that you wouldn't be able to achieve at a driving range. Eco Golf Club is a greater challenge than most nine-hole courses and the fairways and greens stand up against most of the other courses in the area, including the championship courses. Some memorable holes are the fourth, a sharp dogleg, and the par-3 eighth, which is arguably the course's most difficult.

Great spot for a quick 9 holes
I have always appreciated the staff here. Friendly, and helpful with anything you need. The course is laid out in a way that you will only pull out the driver on about 3 holes. It tests your short game and the conditions have improved to average from where it was over the past few years. I recommend any play here for a quick 9 especially if your local. Great value for S. FL golf. Good price on beers/shots too!
Pleasant surprise
The course conditions were great. The staff was really friendly. Will be on my list when I’m in town.
Joe is the man
The course was more than what we paid for. Yes the course green and tee boxes were not perfect but the course was fun and challenging the best part is the friendly staff. Joe was so nice we went back another time just to enjoy his service again. The place is cheap, not busy and a great place to golf.
Fun, not busy, but bad greens
Not busy when I went so I got to take my time on my own and play two balls sometimes. The layout is short but reasonably challenging. The greens and tee boxes had horrible grass and sand patches all over, the fairway grass was acceptable. Putting was unpredictable many times and the ball would bounce all the way to the hole. There were iguanas everywhere which I thought was really cool and unique to see. The round was super fast, you can finish in an hour. I wish the tee boxes had accurate yardage indications, as many times what was posted was not close to the actual distance and I sailed greens a couple of times. Fun experience but wouldn’t do it again without a hot deal
Watch out for fire ants
All 4 of us were bit by fire ants while playing. Yes they warn you but they are everywhere. We ended up skipping home because they were so bad you couldn't even stand there long enough to hit the ball without getting bit. Also this course is directly next to the water treatment facility so you are playing your round with not the greatest smells and factory noise coming from behind the greenery. There are also lots of wildlife (huge active iguanas) all along the cart path. The course is beautiful but wow... it was a rough morning of golf.
Staff is great!
Super friendly staff. Nice little 9 hole course to practice on.
Still in terrible shape.
I hadn't played here in years but needed a place to get in a quick round while in town for business as a tune up for some nicer course. Its a nice layout for an executive course but its in terrible shape. Weeds and bare spots on the greens muddy holes in the fairway. I'm not sure I'll try to play it again.
