Eco Golf Club
About
Located in Hollywood, Eco Golf Club boasts one of the most beautiful executive courses in south Florida. The course offers the challenging design features of a full-length course in a convenient nine-hole layout. It is the perfect option for golfers who don't have time for a full round but still want a challenging game. Accuracy will be greatly rewarded as well as the ability to putt to narrow, undulating greens. It is a great opportunity to get in some quality iron practice that you wouldn't be able to achieve at a driving range. Eco Golf Club is a greater challenge than most nine-hole courses and the fairways and greens stand up against most of the other courses in the area, including the championship courses. Some memorable holes are the fourth, a sharp dogleg, and the par-3 eighth, which is arguably the course's most difficult.

Golf cart died and ruined experience
I enjoy playing both courses at Orangebrook. Myself and 2 others were playing a round on the west course when our cart died at hole 9. We spent up to 45 minutes trying call the clubhouse to let someone know so we can continue playing and finish the back nine but no one was answering as it was closed. When we tried other extensions, it would bring us to people who weren’t on property and they didn’t assist us either with getting a hold of anyone. After finally giving up on trying to get ahold of anyone, we hopped onto our 2nd cart and held our bags on our laps and one of us rode hanging on to the back. We get to the cart return and the cart workers say it’s not there problem, this happens regularly and they wanted to teach us how to fix it ourselves and bring it back from them and that “it is what it is”. They also said there’s nothing we can do to get compensation or at least get a certificate to play 9 holes as all we wanted to do was play golf. Hope we can get it resolved by someone as we enjoy the course and would love to keep playing there but cannot continue to go if the risk of a dead cart mid round is so “common” and we can’t continue playing or get at least a partial refund .
Nice for a quick 9
We had some wind so the other reviews about the smell on the course didnt play into our round. Some greens and tee boxes wee in great shape, some not so much but nothing nasty. I wil go here again and agian t play a quick 9
Worst golf course ever!!!!!
The golf course should be closed until the city of Hollywood really puts some money into the golf course…it is a disaster!!!! And very expensive!!! They charge$25 for a 9 hole course when orangebrook charges only between $18-24 for 18!!!!
Also the attitude of the person in charge of the facilities is rude!! I brought all this issues to him just to receive a bad attitude from him..at least a “ i am sorry…i know we are in trouble…” it’s waht i was expecting. My expensive taxes as a Hollywood Lakes resident are waisted on this place…DO NOT GO!!!!!
Awful course
Not worth it at all. Payed 31 per person for 9 holes on the worst course I’ve ever seen. Could play other solid 18 hole courses for 40-45 a person with normal greens and stuff. There is no area to tee. There is no fairways or greens. The bunker is rock solid. I hit the ball in the fairway and I had to go ankle high in swamps. Courts and clubhouse run down. Overall, terrible experience
Do Not Play This Course!
This course is located right next to a water plant sewage facility. It smells absolutely terrible, and we could not even make it past the first hole without wanting to vomit. The workers acted like they did not smell it, and then they said that the smell eventually gets better, but it definitely does not. this course should not be an option to play on the app.
Eco-golf is a solid 9 hole
Obviously been a major renovation happening. Course is very playable but rough. It'll shape up to be really nice judging by the amount of work going on over there. Good value for the price.
Closed for construction
This course is closed for construction. You can book and pay for a tee time, however it isn’t open. This is as of 11/3/2024.
Worst course
This is definitely the worst public course i’ve played on. The greens look like they were in a hurricane and there’s not a single patch of nice fairway. The tee boxes are ripped to pieces, barely any grass to hit off the deck.
Worst golf course I’ve ever had the displeasure of being on.
Most unkempt, wildly overgrown, untended to course I’ve ever been on. Stay away!
Eco sadness
This used to be a fairly well kept golf course but not so much anymore. Fairways, tee boxes were scruffy and the greens were terrible. Sorry but I'm never coming back.
Barely would call it a golf course
Public course in Hollywood next to a treatment plant that has an unpleasant odor but not as tolerable as the intermittent patches of grass with a propensity of fairways including shortened holes that rea supposed to be under repair to regrow, I am not sure how you do that without air raiding and seeding. Looks like Hollywood will sell this like Orangebrook.
