Eco Golf Club

About
Located in Hollywood, Eco Golf Club boasts one of the most beautiful executive courses in south Florida. The course offers the challenging design features of a full-length course in a convenient nine-hole layout. It is the perfect option for golfers who don't have time for a full round but still want a challenging game. Accuracy will be greatly rewarded as well as the ability to putt to narrow, undulating greens. It is a great opportunity to get in some quality iron practice that you wouldn't be able to achieve at a driving range. Eco Golf Club is a greater challenge than most nine-hole courses and the fairways and greens stand up against most of the other courses in the area, including the championship courses. Some memorable holes are the fourth, a sharp dogleg, and the par-3 eighth, which is arguably the course's most difficult.

Tons of Par 3s
Very poorly maintained course. Greens were unputtable
Echo 9 hole
This is a good 9 hole course, one water hazard in play. Nice par 4 & 5 with dog legs, that forced correct club control.
The course is still in recovery mode from the 1000 years rain that hit last month.
Not the Course's Fault
The course itself was in relatively good condition, but the smell you endure through the last 3 holes is horrible. There is a plant next door that stunk the place up to the point my group debated not finishing the last holes because of the stench. I have played here multiple times, and it has never smelled like that before. I hope this was just a one time thing because that would be a good reason not to go back. Other than the smell, the course is good practice as it is much more narrow than other courses, so you are forced to hit good balls or you will be in trouble. Greens need some maintenance but for the price, this is expected.
Golf on a port-a-potty
The course is located on a pollution control site. It literally smells like crap the entire round. To call it a goat track would not be accurate because if goats lived on this course they would die of starvation. There is not one blade of grass. Additionally goats smell exponentially better than this epic piece of garbage. If you’re thinking about playing here do yourself a favor and have one of your buddys kick you in the balls and then go immediately to the bar. You’ll save money and the experience will be better. May God have mercy on your soul.
Friendly staff but poor course
In bad condition. The only par 5 of such bad condition that the club won't even let you play it. Not told this when booking online. So you pay for a whole you can't play.
Nice staff
Nice staff but the course doesn't drain well, #4 was not playable and had to be skipped, tee boxes, fairways, and greens are bare but full of weeds. It's priced right for conditions of the course but I wouldn't play here again.
Just not worth it
It’s not expensive but it’s just a waste of time. The fairways are not kept the greens are busted. Some spot on some greens look like some took a divot out on them. And the water treatment plant it is build around really reeks of sewage. Just go some where else.
Spotless, greens are sick
It smells dump
Don’t waste your money to play there
It needs a lot of love to make this golf course nice again
12$ for 9holes and they charge you another 12$ for replay.
Needs lots of RLC.
The course layout is good with challenging sloped greens. Some greens as and fairways had areas without grass and irregular patchwork. The conditions were much better 2 years ago.
Fun challenge
Eco has a great layout. Each hole presents a good challenge. I like playing here- except for some of the greens- it is a shot making course. The staff is really great and I enjoy coming here to play golf.
Cow pasture.
An absolute cow pasture. Actually cows would be embarrassed to call this home! How this course could possibly get 3 stars out of 5 is unbelievable. The course is an absolute mess.
Ok 9 hole course
The course is ok, it is lacking in grass on the fairways and most of the greens but it is still playable.
Awful
First off the course is located next to a company that produces processes something. “Eco” in the name should have warned me. My wife and I went to play there one sunny Florida day. Other than the price and staff everything else was a DO NOT GO THERE. (1) We had a tee time, it didn’t matter. They didn’t have enough carts so we had to wait about an hour for a group to finish. (2) While we were waiting some was another group of 4 guys. As they waited at first tee they were kicking a soccer ball around to kill time I thought. As the groups finished and carts brought their carts in others teed off. YES! While the groups were teeing off they were kicking the soccer ball. (3) The STARTER, yes they had a starter came over to tell us it we were next. BECAUSE THE THE GROUP OF GUYS AHEAD OF US WERE PLAYING FOOTGOLF.
And (4) I could go on but I will stop at this. my wife played the last few holes with a mask on because the smell was so bad.
The Cost was good
This course had many issues (1) Not enough working carts. We had to wait over 20-30 minutes on a cart. (2) Foot Golf and Regular golf on the course at the same time. (3) The Greens were horrible. (4) The smell was terrible. In defense of the course, not their fault. (5) The cost was GREAT.
