Blue Cypress Golf Club

A muni that could be better in some places but is really good in others. Treat it as a place to practice and have fun and you’ll realize the value. Go in expecting TPC and you won’t. The three new par 3s are very good. I call it “The Workingman’s Yards”.

Great staff, friendly course. Overall, the course is in good shape, but a few of the fairways need serious work (7,8,9).

I understand this is a muni course in a golf state but they don’t care about it at all. $34 to ride for 12 sounds great but I’d rather pay $34 to ride 9 at almost any other course in the area. The money isn’t what I care about as much as the fact that each tee box isn’t flat, has so many unfilled divots, the cart paths are all sand or gravel with lots of areas where water pools, the greens are inconsistent, some fairways are ok but most are sand filled (not bunker) wastelands. Not to mention the people that play there obviously don’t care to repair anything they destroy on the course. The guy working the “pro shop” was really nice though. The pro shop was a trailer.

Best bang for your buck on a quick round on a course that gets love shown to it more than you’d think, 5 par 4s, 2 Par 5s and 2 Par 3s. Open and fun for all skill levels. Have a day.

Staff was pleasant and assistance was very informative.

I found the course boring and awful. The fairways were terrible and the greens were just ok. But there was no personality to the course and finding your way around it wasn’t easy either

The greens are very well kept. Most of the fairways are in really good condition. Nice place to play for the value.

Reminded me of courses I played when I first started. My wife is a beginner and course was perfect for her. Super friendly staff. Will definitely return. Golf needs more courses like this one!

Greens were 8 out of 10. Fairways 3 out if 10. Tee boxes 4 out of 10. Staff is great

It’s a nice course especially for the value, but since there’s so many times stacked up you usually run into pacing issues. Staff is super friendly and so are most of the people playing there — only issues ever are annoying 16-19 year olds who are blacked out screaming on the course and not respecting it

I have seen the course in better condition. Mainly the fairways, but I would have to admit we have had maybe 2 inches of rain in the last 6 months in our area. The areas around the greens and the greens themselves were in very good condition.

Great little 9 hole course with a few par 3s at the end that you can loop. The fairways are a bit dicey, but the greens are in great condition and roll true. The staff is always super welcoming, and I always end up playing with a person or two, and I have always had an awesome time. Everyone I meet and loop this track with is super chill, no one has out driven me though ;). This is a great course to practice your wedges and scoring irons. If you want to go low you have to take advantage of the par 5s because they are super gettable, you’d could have 150 or less into the green if you poke something 275 or longer. Great course for the value. This is the sister course of Brentwood and I would prefer this course because I always get paired with someone super chill, and they put water out on the course.

I liked the course it was pretty easy to play, and find our way around. My only problem was that I’m a female and I couldn’t find a restroom even when I ask people who were familiar with the course. I had to use the restroom. I wasn’t very happy about that.
