9 at Rocky Bayou

We only played 9 holes because it is too hot to playa full round. The course was in good shape and the staff was so helpful. It was nice to have range balls included in the fee.

Solid course

It was my first time playing this course and I felt like it was a solid course for the price in the area. It's may not be kept up as nice as some of the more expensive courses, but it was still in good condition, had a fun layout, and nice landscape. I will definitely add this course to my list to play more frequently.

Problem

Middle of the summer and there was not beverage cart on the course. The rules also state you are not aloud to stop at the turn for food. Must call ahead. Not having a beverage cart for snacks and refreshments will have golfers stopping at the turn to cool down and refuel themselves.

Rain, but good!

Rocky is always well kept and great to play when spots are available.

Rain brought us in early from the front 9, but drinks and food at the bar well worth watching the storm pass and played a quiet back 9 as most has left the course

Greens were outstanding, the tee boxes and fairways were good. Normal green fees are $160. Not sure it is worth $160. Staff was friendly. Pace of play was good.

Decent course

Staff was friendly and the course was in decent condition. A couple of the greens had some patchy grass and a couple had dead spots. Nothing too bad though. Driving range is short and doesn't look very maintained. Practice putting green was nice. Pro shop doesn't offer much of anything. This is just an average course...nothing to get overly excited about, especially for $100. Most, if not all the courses in Destin, are nicer and more challenging.

Loved playing this course!

We enjoyed playing this course. Fairways, greens and tees were very good, roughs were not good.

Just an outstanding course layout / design, very beautiful. Good test of golf! Would definitely recommend this course to others, especially for the GolfNow price.

We were paired with a wonderful couple (Alan & Helen) from Canada.
