Bay View Golf Club

Good mix of par 3/4/5’s and great well maintained greens. Fairways and tee boxes are average but challenge and course layout is exceptional. Overall $40 for thigh light was excellent time and good golf outing.

The course is currently in fair shape but playable. Midweek mornings are the best time to play this course!

This place is terrible and I will never play here again. They do not care about golf. It’s all about the restaurant. From the Tee Boxes, to the fairways, greens, and even the sand traps. They are all in terrible condition. The traps were hard as rocks with weeds growing in them. Looked like they haven’t been raked in months. Fairways had major dirt patches on almost every one. Chunks of grass missing from some greens and every green had crabgrass growing in them. If they haven’t a greens keeper he either doesn’t know what he’s doing or just doesn’t care!

This course was beautiful. I had a great view of the city as well. Greens were pretty well kept staff was very friendly. Car have touchscreen GPS, which is a plus. But this is a course for the well seasoned player. Not too many flat lies it’s either there. The ball is above your feet below your feet so you better know where your balls going when you get it. But other than that great place I will go again.

Nice to see upgrades in progress of sprinklers. Course is challenging layout — fairway slopes, bends, and green contours. But fun!

Course was in ok condition, still gopher holes scattered along rough. Greens were quik, full of divots, and pin placement was unfair. Example, par 4 12th. Hole was placed on edge of upper tier. When putting up hill, below the hole, if the ball did not past the hole it would slowly roll back, pick up speed and end up farther than you started. Green reading can be a challenge here, but putting pins on fall off edges is not cool. Superintendent must have had a bad day or something.

Carts have gps which stops the cart from going forward if you pass a certain line. Carts are not able to go into the 2nd cut of rough, waste area, bunkers, greens. You would have to reverse the cart back into the Safe zone to move forward again. It gets really annoying after a few times!

THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS ON THE GOLF COURSE! You need to go to the club house to relieve yourself! The old Summit Pointe had a porta potty at holes 8 and 15, Bay View should consider bringing them back!

The cool thing that day was the BALD EAGLE flying around the driving range🦅

Not too many flat lies. The silver tees were a lot longer than what they said on the scorecard on a lot of the holes.

I played this course after 5 years and was quite impressed with the updated layout on some of the holes and overall condition of the entire course. Will definitely recommend!!

When your "go to" golf course are booked during the weekend, then I would suggest you check out Bay View Golf Course. Fun alternative.

Quality Tee boxes and greens.

All tee boxes under repair, bare spots everywhere in fairways.I started golfing here in 1986 at the par 3 course for fun!! TONY LIMA 18 hole course was excellent, both condition and amenities, please put the money back into the course and its former Glory!! Clean it up, grow some grass, fix the other bridge crossing,etc.....

Hard to get bored of the layout, elevation changes make every hole unique, testing but not punishing. Front 9 allows you to settle in for the tightness of the back 9. Cart mapping restrictions used to be the knock of this place for me, not so much anymore. Left my rangefinder behind, didn’t turn up initially but Eric in the pro shop made it his mission to return it me, shoutout Eric!
