Bay View Golf Club

This course Juat got aerate 2 days ago. I book online through golf now. No warning or awareness of aeration. Super disappointed and so was all the people in the group. Everyone complain. Unfair. I glad they get to keep their money and feel satisfied that they did not warn us of this terrible green.

Waste of time and energy. No maintenance at all. Horrible condition. Don’t waste your money and time here.

Ian is a very talented golf instructor. I took three lessons from him and I would highly highly recommend him. I have been playing for a while and I picked up bad habits with my swing . My purpose for going to Ian was to correct those bad habits and improve my handicap.

What I liked very much about Ian is his instructions are very easy to follow and he works with what you have and proves from there. I have worked with other coaches and almost none of them do that. That is Ian’s quality and that I feel is a big deal for amateur golfers like me. He definitely improved my short game and definitely my putting . And these are just based on simple instructions .

I plan to keep working with him every few months or so . He is a perfect players coach and I wish him all the best on his path of his journey.

It had been a couple of years since I last played here, and the course has noticeably improved. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape, but the biggest improvements were the greens and practice range.

The staff throughout the facility were extremely friendly and courteous. Great Bay views and surprisingly affordable for the quality of the course. The slopes and elevation changes can make it challenging, but overall it’s a great value and a really enjoyable round. Highly recommend!

Always a good after 5PM course and deal but pace is often too slow.

Gets slow at times as groups take forever but patience is a virtue!

The tee boxes steal from a great all round experience of the golf course. It’s blessed with beautiful mountain views, peace and quiet. The practice facility is great. The greens are mind blowing PGA pace and quality. We didn’t appreciate previous golfers who were not fixing their ball marks on the greens - but that’s not on the golf course staff.

What can really help the experience by A1 is the quality of the tee boxes. None of them are flat, have lot of undulations with a lot of divots and lack of grass. These should be fixed ASAP. Icing on the cake will be some places on the fairway that have no grass. Overall a great value.

Good mix of par 3/4/5’s and great well maintained greens. Fairways and tee boxes are average but challenge and course layout is exceptional. Overall $40 for thigh light was excellent time and good golf outing.

The course is currently in fair shape but playable. Midweek mornings are the best time to play this course!

This place is terrible and I will never play here again. They do not care about golf. It’s all about the restaurant. From the Tee Boxes, to the fairways, greens, and even the sand traps. They are all in terrible condition. The traps were hard as rocks with weeds growing in them. Looked like they haven’t been raked in months. Fairways had major dirt patches on almost every one. Chunks of grass missing from some greens and every green had crabgrass growing in them. If they haven’t a greens keeper he either doesn’t know what he’s doing or just doesn’t care!

This course was beautiful. I had a great view of the city as well. Greens were pretty well kept staff was very friendly. Car have touchscreen GPS, which is a plus. But this is a course for the well seasoned player. Not too many flat lies it’s either there. The ball is above your feet below your feet so you better know where your balls going when you get it. But other than that great place I will go again.

Nice to see upgrades in progress of sprinklers. Course is challenging layout — fairway slopes, bends, and green contours. But fun!

Course was in ok condition, still gopher holes scattered along rough. Greens were quik, full of divots, and pin placement was unfair. Example, par 4 12th. Hole was placed on edge of upper tier. When putting up hill, below the hole, if the ball did not past the hole it would slowly roll back, pick up speed and end up farther than you started. Green reading can be a challenge here, but putting pins on fall off edges is not cool. Superintendent must have had a bad day or something.

Carts have gps which stops the cart from going forward if you pass a certain line. Carts are not able to go into the 2nd cut of rough, waste area, bunkers, greens. You would have to reverse the cart back into the Safe zone to move forward again. It gets really annoying after a few times!

THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS ON THE GOLF COURSE! You need to go to the club house to relieve yourself! The old Summit Pointe had a porta potty at holes 8 and 15, Bay View should consider bringing them back!

The cool thing that day was the BALD EAGLE flying around the driving range🦅

Not too many flat lies. The silver tees were a lot longer than what they said on the scorecard on a lot of the holes.

I played this course after 5 years and was quite impressed with the updated layout on some of the holes and overall condition of the entire course. Will definitely recommend!!
