Course in in terrible shape, and way overpriced for its condition. Driving range mats were missing tees and range was not in good shape.

Whole course needs to be upgraded fairways are in bad conditions tee boxes are to be upgraded also to many brown areas greens really bad.

My honest opinion is they are not taking care of this course so it can turned it to housing. If it was maintenance it would be great but it's not and was not worth the money at all

Lots of potential, but course has deteriorated over the years. Fairways and grains need a lot of work overall not great. Lots of better options in the Temecula Marietta Valley.

This course used to be too notch about 25 years ago.The layout has always been quirky but fun when the conditions were great back in the day. Now it seems they are completely letting the place go to heck, and it’s sad. but hey if you want to go get ripped off to play the worst course around (next to cal oaks) then come here. But don’t come pay because they must make a change to make this place ok again. Not sure if that will ever happen but hopefully something gives becuase the place is a disaster and has been for a while

Not a single green that didn’t have major damage. Multiple fairways you have to aim for grass patches in the middle of the fairway. Tee boxes are 2” crab grass or a mixture of crab grass and straight dirt.

On the plus side I got a very reasonable discount at the club house. The guy behind the counter told me “we are giving a little discount because there was some damage to the greens from the heat.” Instead of paying the regular $74, I was only charged $70.

Don’t waste your time at this place

By far the worst golf course I have played. 15-18 greens severely heat damaged. Fairways are not cut and tee boxes were not mowed. Of the fairways that were mowed the grass clippings were left in the middle of the fairways. Absolutely bad shape.

We're going positive-negative-positive with this lengthy review. Keep in mind that normally I'm a very glass half-full kind of guy...

Positive - I was invited to play a round by a friend, and accepted without thought. $70 for the golf and a cart, $8 for a small bucket of range balls to warm up with. Perfect morning for golf.

Negatives - This could go on forever. The course conditions were an absolute disaster. Tee boxes were very hit or miss shape. One was totally destroyed and we hit from what seemed like a temporary zone, shortening the hole by about 100 yards. The fairways were more dirt/weeds than grass. You were often better hitting from the rough than center of fairway. Bunkers were neglected. But the greens! Worst I've ever seen in almost 50 years of playing. Literally had guys putting through mud. One green was a combination of grass, what looked to be clover/weeds, and mud. At the turn while getting some ice and water, a guy (guessing the pro/manager) was sitting at the bar and apologized for the sun/heat damage on some of the greens (nothing about the other aspects). I appreciated it and thought the back nine would be better. Nope. WAY WORSE! I've played many other courses this summer in the same area that dealt with the same heat/sun and they were all much better managed and in much better shape. Sure, there were some patches, but overall decent. These greens you expected to face adversity no matter where you were at. I wish I'd have taken some photos/video to post but it didn't cross my mind at the time.

Unacceptable for a $70 rate. Not discounting our rate for the conditions or giving us a deal to come back for a future round is criminal. In this shape I wouldn't be back for $30.

Positives - Again, the weather was perfect and we played in just over 4 hours. The layout has potential. In a rush to get off the course I left my rangefinder on the cart, and the pro shop almost immediately called me and left a message that they'd have it locked in a safe for me to pick up the next day. I was going to mention my disappointment on my return, but I think I had some PTSD when I walked into the pro shop to get it. I did notice they had a sign posted today about the conditions on the counter that wasn't there yesterday. Avoid until someone takes one for the team and has better luck and can post pictures showing improvement.

We play this course frequently, but the conditions are just awful right now and we will not play again anytime soon. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all really bad. Not sure they have mowed in weeks. Ants everywhere. It's a shame because the course was a great value just a year ago.

If you looking for a course you can loose your golf ball in the middle of what used to be a fairway this is the place. Sad that some of the friendlies people you will ever meet work there and have to represent a course that is basically gone. From tree boxes to last gasp greens the course is in millions of dollars behind on upkeep. Like many public courses at least 5 kinds of grasses have taken up root and you can hardly find a 25 yard stretch in what was fairways that different grass is either taken over or gone. Sad the layout is a very nice one and not easy at all even if in perfect shape. Makes one hope instead of taxing billionaires in California maybe a couple of them could buy and spend the 10 million or so to safe this course.

Even though the tee boxes were moved up, they could have cut the grass. Shabby tee boxes !

Every green had either dead grass areas, just plain dirt, or patches of clover, these greens used to be in a better condition.

Un-cut grass around sand traps, trees, and a lot of areas around the greens. You should be able to find your ball easily only being 8-10 feet off the green !! Walking around the greens looking for your ball by taking short stomping steps slows down the pace of play. I use to really like this course, and didn’t mind driving from downtown Riverside to play it, sorry to say that I won’t be coming down there to play for a while !!

Course was in horrible condition. Half the greens had grown weeds, and some had huge divots from water runoff. Overwatered in multiple areas and equipment had run through the areas leaving huge ditches in the fairways. Tee boxes overgrown, rough areas were super high weeds. Was attached by ants on multiple fairways.

If you’re looking for cheap golf ( $60) this one is mediocre. Don’t have high expectations when playing here.

Sorry but the conditions are the worst i have seen in 20 years

Played here for the first time in about a year or so and back then, the course was quirky and in average shape, so I met a friend to try it again. Bad mistake. From an unorganized starter, to thick crabgrass and overgrown tee boxes, to plenty of muddy bare spots, mowed grass piles in the fairways and diseased greens- it was a rough track and a complete waste of money and time. .
