Cabot Citrus Farms - A Must Play
The tremendous complex of Cabot is quite a unique experience! The large practice area is beautiful and there is music playing in the background which gives a unique and pleasant vibe! The Roost Course was in spectacular condition from tee through the greens on all 18 golf holes. The management and any other employees I encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful. The restroom facilities on the course were designed with high end interior finishes while under conditioned air.Weather you order food at a grab and go on the course or sit in the elegant main dining room the food is prepared of the highest quality to enjoy, Cabot's 4 courses are a must play for the golf enthusiast. I would urge anyone to visit Cabot you will not be disappointed! Al Lanz.
Great course with an incredible layout
I have played Karoo before, this time I played the roost both courses were incredible in completely different ways. Both courses were in absolutely incredible condition. In Florida in the middle of summer most courses get a little mushy from the rain. This course must have incredible drainage greens and fairways were dry
Great
Great layout, great condition from tees to greens. The only comment is that it is a little confusing getting around the course since there aren't really defined cart paths. Would highly highly recommend though to anyone considering playing the course!
Luxury w/ Traditional Layout
Much more traditional off the tee with every challenge you’d ask of a high end golf course. There are some difficult holes built into a gorgeous walk. Both sides are a great time with the comfort station built in strategically to never leave you without a beverage or bite.
Slightly chaotic but tons of fun
The Roost had a fairly high standard to live up to, created as it was from the husk of the former Rolling Oaks course at the former World Woods Golf Club. Three different architects and one consultant took their turns reimagining this new-look 18, which is much broader-shouldered and more intense than the course it replaced. In most cases, that’s for the better. At times, though, the aggressiveness of the green contours threaten to overwhelm players, especially when the greens are at high speed. Even still, I like Roost better than Karoo among Cabot Citrus Farms’ two current ‘big’ courses, and the surrounding facilities are fantastic.
