Great value, lovely course
Firstly, for the price, every expectation I had was exceeded. I’ve seen mixed reviews about the various states in which this course has been found over the years, but I trusted a newer review regarding recent improvements that sounded promising. The course was in good shape, the bunkers, areas around the greens, and the greens themselves were all very clean and playable. Greens were easily readable and played well. The cups were not necessarily immaculately manicured (with slight overgrowth) but nothing that took away from the playability or enjoyment. I will definitely endeavor to return to this sweet course as often as I’m able…I only wish I lived closer!
Always a fun quick game
Always enjoy cross creek. Some of tee boxes need a little work. But overall it’s a nice 18 hole par 3 course. Glad it’s finally fully open again.
Fun par 3 course
The course was fun for getting some practice on our short game. Easy to walk and nice, laid back staff.
Confused
I booked a 920 tee time for 2 last night. Wife decided she didn't want to go. (Devastated, but I got over it in time to play) Front nine was very pleasant. Came up behind one group, and they promptly let me play through. Walking up to tenth tee, i saw 3 men with 6-7 small (3-6 yr olds) on the tee box. I love seeing kids that young falling in love with the game. They were having a blast. But they would NOT let me go through! One of the men finally suggested I just go around them and jump to 11. So that's what I did. Figured I'd just play #10 last to complete my round. I would have. But after finishing 18, they were STILL on the hole!!!! Now I don't blame the kids one bit. I hope they had a blast and become golfers for life. But the men that were in charge had no clue how to act on a golf course. That used to matter. The entire first section of the USGA rulebook concerns nothing but etiquette on the golf course. If I wanted to get in serious trouble as a kid let me act up on the golf course! I wish kids were taught how to be courteous and respectful on a golf course today. I really wish they had someone to teach them.
Nice and cheap
It’s a great place for us beginners. The course is not really all that nice but it’s a great chance to swing some club and get some practice.
Great Executive Course Value
This executive course is easily walkable with optional push cart. The course isn’t usually crowded which allows for 18 holes often in 2 hours. Not the fanciest course, but a great value for your money.
Close, repair, reopen
With green fees this low, expectations were minimal, but the course still fell short. The conditions are very poor and the course is nearly unplayable. In several cases, the pin was placed in the fairway instead of on the green. If the course is in this level of disrepair, it should be closed until necessary improvements are made.
Great practice course
I've played this course two times within the a week and fell in love with it. I can see they are actively working on some of their greens but it's worth price and a great course to get better on.
cross creek
the price is right on for youngsters and new golfers. It looks like they’re working on improving the overall conditions… the greens need a lot of attention as well as the tee boxes.
