You don’t come for the quality
You don’t come to Candler for the quality of the greens. You come because golf is supposed to be a game for all people, not some hoity-toity effete vanity project. Yes, there are a ton of bare spots on tee boxes, greens, pretty much everywhere. Who cares? When the game began in Scotland half a millennium ago, and the only greenskeepers were shaggy-haired, had four legs, and went “baa,” do you think those guys whined about a couple of “bare spots?” Heck no. Neither will we. There are 9 tee boxes, 9 pins stuck into little holes far away, and the existential risk of launching your club at a wee ball in the quixotic dream of eventually propelling it into that aforementioned hole. Enjoy Candler. It’s $12. It’s pure golf.
False ad
Your ad claimed it was 18 holes and that I got a cart. Both were false. I cancelled but you did not give my money back. There is no way for me to email customer service.
Not accurate listing
It’s a 9 hole course. Greens are in terrible shape. It says you get a cart but they don’t have carts and with your golf now reservation they don’t even let you take one of the walking carts they do have on hand.
I gently ask to get refund.
This course doesn’t have a drive cart.
I paid $40 for 18holes though
Iam 50 year old lady not that strong to keep walking this hillkike corse in this weather.
After all I coudnt make it.
The lady ‘Miss Misty on the check in counter can prove it.
I wii be waiting an answer from you patiently.
Not Reflective of Advertising
The course was not as pretty as it was shown to be online. There are no additional amenities., and the course is walking only or you can rent a push cart. It has LOTS of hills, and no par 5 holes. For $13 a person it is a good value, but as someone who travelled for this course, unless you are local, I would not recommend playing here.
Awful. Just insanely bad.
This course shouldn't even be allowed to operate. It's literally the worst course I have ever seen.
This shouldn't even be allowed to operate.
I can't even believe this is open. It quite literally looks like it's been closed for 2 years. It is the worst golf course I have ever seen in my entire life. And that's saying something.
Rough
Staff is friendly and course layout is alright. Very poorly maintained; tee boxes are all dirt and slanted, fairways are all dirt, greens are overgrown with weeds and dirt patches. Definitely has gone downhill compared to last year, unfortunate.
Great opportunity to practice for an amazing price
I had a great first experience at Chandler Park Golf Course. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, but the main highlight was the opportunity to play 9 holes for an amazing and fantastic value.
The course conditions were decent and well-maintained, providing a relaxed and easy layout. While it may not have the challenges of a championship course, it’s the perfect spot to practice and work on your golf game. It’s especially ideal for golfers looking to gain experience on an actual course without the high prices that many other places charge.
I highly recommend Chandler Park Golf Course for an affordable and enjoyable 9 hole round of golf. I’ll definitely be back!
Great for Beginners
This was my first time going to this course. I appreciate that it is right in the neighborhood. I will be back with some friends. Also heard there was a golf clinic the next day and I came back for that. I love opportunities to learn more.
Still open
Club house is new and nice. Bring something to tie down your bag if you use their pull carts. Or bring your own or just carry your own bag. It’s a good walk and enjoyable to play. The greens need some TLC but they always have. The course demands accuracy and the rough is unforgiving. Plan to lose a couple balls. Will play it again.
This course is a hole in the wall.
Between no cart path, no driving range, graffiti on the tee boxes. All the above. I truly enjoy the ATL vibe the course gives off. Just make sure you lock your car
