I love this course and yesterday day the 5th or 6th time playing it. BUT … Only 9 holes playable- front nine greens were being punched. Back nine greens had been recently aerated and were sand-covered. The only 18-hole option was to play the back nine twice. Despite the crappy greens and short track, they connected full price

Overall wonderful vacation day. Course was aerating back 9 so had to play front 9 twice, caused some backup plus would have liked back 9.. Generally course was in good shape but front 9 greens were fair to poor, maybe the need for aeration. Thought rate of 155 was for post summer but that was the break for aeration day,, not clear on Golfnow.

Would play again but would call course direct to get clarifications.

Not particularly well maintained. Bunkers were not groomed or cut cleanly.

This was my second round at this course. The course is well maintained and has a great set up. Stay out of the rough, and you will have a great round. The rough is very thick and it is quite easy to lose balls that are in play.

The bunkers and greens were in excellent condition. After some rain, the greens were slower than my first round, and there was little roll after an approach shot landing on the green.

Staff is friendly and go out of their way to ensure players had a great experience. The starter gave some great insight into general tips on playing the course.

Professional, courteous staff. Fairways in great shape, greens were a little beat up. Great views. Enjoyable round. Pretty expensive, but paying for the convenience of its location to northern Outer Banks.

Awesome course to play near our rental in Corolla. Condition were great.

As the title states, overall a good experience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I showed up early and hit a few ball’s at the natural grass practice range. Starter indicated I could head out whenever as there was no one ahead of me.

As my gps batteries had died, I had to rely on course marking to understand the layout…there’s no gps on the cart or hole layout on the scorecard. I kinda expected one or the other as this is a semi-private club. Regardless, I had several birdie looks and no double bogeys.

Conditions were a little worse than expected for a reasonably spendy round. Some clumpy mown grass that wasn’t bagged or scattered and greens that were pretty pocked…tee boxes were nice though.

Overall, I enjoyed myself and happily will return but would look for a hot deal to save some bucks.

Not many choices in the Outer Banks. This is a nice course that is usually in good condition. The one weak spot is the greens - they are super soft and covered in pitch marks. All other parts of the course are in great shape.

There were two foursomes in front of us that held up okay that it tom 3 hours to play nine holes. We quit after 9 and walked off paying 170/ person.

The greens were very soft, meaning a lot of ball marks. Too many golfers just don’t care about fixing their ball marks. Not just here. I see it on a lot of courses these days. Is it just laziness or poor etiquette?

Nice course in a great location. Expensive for 9 holes but worth it to not drive 45 minutes off the island.

This course is in excellent condition. It’s very playable from the whites for all skill levels but has plenty of length from the blues for advanced players. It’s tight layout forces a lot of layup shots.

The only downside is there isn’t much view of the sound or ocean, as you’d expect from an Outer Banks course.
