Great course close to home
The course was in great shape as always. They have extended the driving range since the last time I used it. Rain started on about hole 14 making for more difficult conditions than usual. They were working on a few of the greens and had sprinklers running which made parts of those greens very wet even before the rain but the sprinklers did not interfere with play. I noticed they have removed a few trees opening up some of the tee shots to the fairways and greens. It wasn't necessary in my opinion, I like the extra difficulty but I am sure they made informed decisions.
I will be back soo.
really like playing this course. would play it more often if it weren't 40 miles away
Repair
Several of the greens were under repair due to some grass issues which made some greens unplayable. But the course was still in great shape. Looking forward to next year when the course is finished with the major upgrades.
Course currently being worked on
I’ve played here several times. Always a fan. I just wish I knew there was construction on the course. Theres irrigation lines (I think) going in, and a few greens are waterlogged. 5:5 stars usually, but I wouldn’t play again until the construction is done.
Slow play
I enjoy the course but didn't get off until 25 min after scheduled tee time. Good thing they only played 9 as it opened up on the back.
Be back soon!
Scenic, well kept course. Greens are true. Fairways wide. Water holes a test. Staff welcoming. Good grill.
Will be back soon!
Picturesque views excellent layout
Challenging course for all levels the staff is upgrading every aspect of the golf experience from the clubhouse to the course maintenance
Slowest course in Raleigh area
Played here quite a few times and like the layout okay. Course is typically in decent condition and was very lush everywhere with all the rain we've had recently. Greens were in good condition outside the few weeds here and there they've always had. They were extremely slow and bumpy though. I don't typically leave reviews at all but I thought it was worth it today. Out of the last half dozen times I've played Reedy Creek I've left after 9 holes due to the EXTREME slow pace of play. They have 8 minute tee time spread which is too close together. Some other courses do the same but for whatever reason it just doesn't work here. It took 2 hours 25 minutes to play the front, waiting on every single shot. When we arrived at 10th tee there was a group on the green and two groups at the tee box. I knew unless I had at least another 2.5 hours to spend I should leave. I am a scratch golfer but by no means a speed demon out there and was paired with 2 high handicap players that were chopping it all over the course, and we STILL had to wait on every tee and approach shots. This is not a long or difficult course. Reedy Creek please do something about your horrendous pace of play so I can come enjoy your course again. It is not fun to wait every single shot.
