Off season maintenance
Overall, the course was in good condition. The first hole was being worked on and was unplayable temporarily. The tee boxes and the greens were in great condition and the fairways were mostly dormant. A few holes were having minor work done to the irrigation system. My cart, #22 has something wrong with the steering and could use some work. This course is always well maintained and fun to play. I play here often and will continue to come back.
Course Conditions
I have played here many times and as usual the course was in great condition and drains best of other courses in the area. The weather was very nice for January. I recommend Reedy Creek to my friends and local relatives.
Improved course
Enjoyed the round at Reedy Creek, have improved greatly since last time playing over 3 years ago
Gotta love Reedy
Greens on maybe 2 different holes have some repairs underway (don’t be too proud, just move your ball out of the bad area) but otherwise the course is in fantastic condition for December, kudos to the grounds crew! Took almost 5 hours to play the round but we had a foursome and let a few groups play ahead so that’s fair. When the sun is out 50 degrees feels like 60 so get out there and have some fun, we always do!
Played about as expected. I was happily surprised that it was in pretty decent condition after the recent rains - cart path only on two holes! However, the online tee times were very misleading. Based on what showed on the available tee times it appeared it would be a pretty quiet day. So I was surprised to arrive to find the parking lot nearly full and people backed up on the first tee. It all worked out and I got to play with two other singles, both who were very cool guys. I’ll definitely be back but need to fix the online tee times to reflect the busyness of the course.
go elsewhere
I say this so others don’t come here from raleigh.
I used to love keith hills them too
crowded. I played with Mike Butterball, Craig, and Patrick- all great guys and we had fun. Never met them, just made a 4 some because group in front took forever. Everybody was great in pro
shop, cafe lady as sweet as they get. Only issue was torn up greens and areas off fairways had no grass we played winter rules and we had a blast Totally recommend if you are a fast 4 some. If you suck and bring the wife and kids
or it’s your 3rd to 20th round….
let me know so I can go elsewhere or stay home
and do some BS chore that i was supposed to do
weeks ago
elsewhere
All around great
Me and 3 friends traveled down from New York for the weekend and this course alone made it worth it. Absolutely beautiful. A lot of water so be prepared to lose a bunch of balls if you suck like us, but if I could play this course every couple weeks I would. We were lucky enough to get a sunny day in the low 50s, but if you’re playing in the summer time or the beginning of fall.. this place would be heaven. The picture I included is the most beautiful par 3 I’ve seen. We’re in our early 20s but no matter how old or young you are I would recommend this course.
Great value excellent course
The course is well maintained and has picturesque views and challenging holes for all levels of golfers
Good course, poor pace of play
Great course but there is no marshall to keep players on time. We were looking forward to playing on a Sunday afternoon. The pace of play was terribly slow. There was a threesome that did not follow any golf etiquette. They were slow and kept 3 groups stalled and wouldn’t let anyone play through. They constantly waited for the other group to finish the entire hole before teeing off. These were not average players, further they knew they were slow amd didn’t care. We called the golf shop and they said someone would be out but no one came. Unfortunately, we ended up cutting our game short because we didn’t want to keep waiting and decided to leave. Playing 18 holes shouldn’t take 5 hours we’re there are only two groups ahead of you and no one else playing the course. I hope this was a one off experience and it won’t happen again.
Great value
What a pleasant surprise, Course was in very good condition and they were continuing to do work On the course. Front 9 is very wide open giving you the Opportunity to loosen up and then the back is a bit more challenging but a good layout. The greens had a few bad spots but overall were in good condition and rolled very smooth and quick.
Morning Tee-time
I truly enjoy playing this course. It is challenging yet plenty of fun. Wide fairways for the most part and some challenging fairways with water hazards. The pro shop is well stocked and the staff is very welcoming and friendly.
Great track but slow
I really enjoyed this course. The distance was good and the layout was fun. Plenty of risk reward if you can place the ball. Pace of play was awful even with many of the groups having less than 4 players. That needs to be addressed by maybe adding a few minutes between tee times. Still, I will return because the course is a gem and it’s very well maintained.
