Good Shape
Despite Severe Winter damage in the area the course is in good shape.
Great Time
Was my first time playing here staff was very friendly made me feel welcome course was in good shape fairways are starting to come back but the greens were perfect. Had a great time will definitely be back again, thanks for the free cigars and titleist stickers.
Unfriendly Staff
Bitter unfriendly staff member started our morning off in a bad way
Under Contruction
They were aerating everywhere wish we knew ahead of time
Very challenging
It's all about ball placement and it will be better in a few weeks due to the grass in the fairway
greens are in great shape
The course is in good shape for this time of year. Greens are excellent
Always a pleasure to play here.
The fairways were in average early Spring conditions but the greens were true and on the quick side. The staff is what makes the drive worth the time. Dan and his crew are always friendly and willing to help folks that show themselves willing to be helped. I have never had a bad experience here and hope to be able to go back soon. Don't let the front nine lull you into too much confidence because the back nine will definitely chew you up if you get complacent.
Great course!
Bar and grill was not open at all. All day. Other then the fairways being dead, the greens was amazing! Very nice! Friendly staff and cheap pricing. First time playing here and love the layout of the course! Great amount of water and sand! Will be back soon!
hossgolf
Other than extreme windy conditions and a cart that died it was a very good early spring golfing experience.
Great deal
Greens in great shape, course playing fairly for this early in the year!
Good!
Played in mid Jan 2015 and pace of play was too slow at times but course was in good condition and vey playable
Great course for the money.
I got married on this course 15 year ago and I really enjoy playing here. Its a fair golf course. I shot 74 from the blues and I have a 6.5 handicap.
SLOW PLAY but decent course
I live in Mocksville and have played here in the past often. My husband and I stopped playing there regularly because of slow play, poor etiquette by members (which the clubhouse REFUSED to address simply because they were members). Went back due to cheap online price through golfnow.com. Course has been shortened from what it used to be--I don't like this--was better before. Greens were "fuzzy"--needed to be trimmed/rolled. Caused the ball to go off-line and slow down. Fairways excellent as usual. Terribly slow play, which is not uncommon here. Make sure you have all day and a lot of patience if you play here--don't expect common courtesy on the course--no one will ever let you play through, and you'll likely get a ball driven on you from the group behind.
This is a quality course
I was pleasantly surprised with this course. It's fairly short but offers a good variety of shots with some water to contend with. Nice greens too.
Pudding Ridge
The greens had been punched a week ago, and I wish I had known.
bgrogan
The course was fun to play. Fairly challenging with a couple of interesting holes like number 10 on the back. I will recommend this course to my friends.
ridiculous
We immediately got greeted by a rude guy at the desk then the carts were soaking wet. We were delayed by twenty minutes to start for some "regulars" which we waited EVERY SINGLE HOLE 10 TO 15 MINUTES EACH HOLE because they had a 5 some followed by a foursome followed by ANOTHER 5 some! We didn't see any ranger until the 14th hole which we voiced our displeasure considering we had a Twosome! And these inconsiderate "gentleman" wouldn't, let us play through. That' s riduculous , we will never go back to pudding ridge unless things and attitudes change!
great course slow play
Course was in excellent condition and fun to play. Only problem was pace of play. On several holes we had at least a fifteen minute wait.
Pudding Ridge in good condition
Pudding Ridge is a little off the beaten path but was in very good condition. The only complaint was that the pace of play was extremely slow. No ranger to help speed up slower players.
