Stonebridge Golf Club

Relatively open layout but water and sand come into play if you stray off the fairway. Very forgiving rough. Well manicured course, very consistently nice greens. More people need to repair their ballmarks! Can't wait to play again. Great staff of friendly professionals.

Greens are better than they were 2 months ago. Hot deal for $15. Happy with it.

The course in really good shape. There were some bumps and divots in the greens. Overall nice place to play.

The greens were aerated last week and still recovering. They were very slow and inconsistent due to not being cut to normal length.

I have played this course many times. I always enjoy it. I really like the layout. To me just a fun course to play. They had aerated the greens this week but they were still in pretty good shape. I think that for someone who has not been there it is worth the visit.

Played during the eclipse, aerating was taking place on the front 9 so played the back 9 twice. Pace of play was fine. The staff, as always, was super friendly. Was paired with another single who was a really nice guy and very good player. Course is in good condition. I wish they had better range balls.

Pace of play was terrible for a weekday. The only holes our foursome didn't have to wait to tee off from were #1and #18. Every other hole the waiting was bad enough it was a shame no one brought a deck of cards. Several rangers working but not out on course monitoring pace of play. Mainly just hanging out in the shade on the turn.

And it wasn't just our group fed up with the slow play. As we waited to tee off on par 3, 15th you could hear the group on the green ahead of us giving an earful to the slowplaying group ahead of them teeing off from 16.

I think most players want to keep the pace of play moving but sometimes a player/s don't realize they've fallen behind. This is why the rangers need to be out on the course and have a "presence". And when appropriate, Stonebridge rangers need to do a better job of telling players they need to pick up the pace so everyone benefits.

Overall course was in good shape. The fairways were some of best I played all year. They were Green and plush, but you could still get some roll. Tee Box's where okay and greens rolled fast and true. About 8-10 rating. The staff was great from the kid who met me in parking lot to the pro, all they way to the starter and the cart girl was terrific. Only thing I wish they had sandwiches on the cart, not her fault. I Did not play well but still enjoyed the day. Nice track somewhat links style. Good test

Course is one of the nicest public courses in Charlotte area. However, they consistently loose their greens in the summer. The course would be 5 star if they go to championship Bermuda greens! No fault outside of that on course conditions!

This is a very golfer friendly course. It has wide open fairways, a few forced carries, and only 4 water hazards that really get in the way. This time of year, summer, the bermuda fairways and rough are in peak condition. The bunkers are in good shape with clean sand. However the greens are a little rough due to ball marks and dead or infected grass. That being said, they roll OK and are playable. New greens would make this course what it was when it first opened 20 years ago.

Stonebridge has the feel of a private course available to all us golfers in the CLT area. Awesome staff, great conditions and beverage cart!!! Rounds are 4 hours or less. Greens getting a bit hairy with the crazy weather lately, but still worth it, big time...

This course has a variety of different holes, dog legs, and hazards. The greens weren't in great shape. Overall a nice course and a lot of fun to play.

I have played here a few times. This is an excellent course. Love it. Well taken care of, perfect fairways, great staff. Greens probably will need an update soon.

This was my first time playing the course. We got a hot deal for 20 bucks and decided to make the 45 minute drive to the course. I loved the course! The two guys that were starters were super friendly. They gave us tips on several of the holes and told us where we wanted to hit our drives. Just great people. Greens were immaculate. Loved putting on them. Super smooth. Course is fairly short, but tons of doglegs provide challenge. Will definitely come back. Can't beat this place. Great job all around.

This is an excellent golf course. The only thing I have a problem with is slow play. Golf ready . Not all 4 players going to one person ball. Really!!!. This is not the senior tour

Had family in for graduation, decided to play a round, thought Saturday would be crazy but course in great shape, pace of play very good, had a great time. We will be back to play again.

We played Stonebridge after the monsoon rains in the Charlotte area. The course was in great shape given all the rain, Yes, there were wet area and carts stayed on path but, the golf course was still challenging and fun. Even the traps were in good shape.

The folks were super friendly, especially Grady, our starter.

We will be back!

Looking forward to playing there again. Course very enjoyable.
