Stonebridge Golf Club

Wether you are an average golfer, or a low handicap player, Stonebridge has the playability and challenge for all levels. Course conditions are always great, minus a few unfixed pitch marks on the greens. New additions of a first cut around most greens adds a new feel to the course and ability to chip it close or putt if you slightly miss a green. If you haven't been here, make the trip.

This was the first time I played this course and I enjoyed every moment of it. I will definelty be a returning customer.

I've played this course probably 100 times. Minus the soaked conditions due to rain, the course was in great shape. The greens were in as good of shape as I've ever seen them. the pace of play was the def the fastest I've ever played there. With groups in front of us, our foursome finished in under 4 hours. Course has always been a favorite of our group, however prices seemed to have risen since new management took over. Will be visiting again this summer

Enjoyed StoneBridge. They had recently aerated greens so not quite back to their standard conditions. Tee boxes need some work. Overall good value.

I've played this course a number of times. The course itself is always in great condition. The greens have recently been aeriated so they were very slow but still rolled surprisingly true. Pace of play was good even considering the fact that we were right behind an outing. The staff is extremely considerate and accommodating. I always look forward to a trip to Stonebridge!

Coming from Charlotte it's a little bit of a hike but worth a trip for something different. They take good care of this course. It has a good variety of holes, some forced carries and some risk reward holes.

Very nice course too bad so many people have found it. The staff was great, everything else also very good. Only negative was play was a little slow at four and one half hours

I drive 1 hour each way to play.. If I lived closer, I would play at least once a week.

Their handicapped flag policy is the only negative.

The overall course conditions were acceptable for early April, especially since the greens had recently been aerated, top dressed but not rolled and not cut very low. Greens were slow, there was much more standing water elsewhere on the course than I'd expect due to lack of much rain.

Routed fairly well, not very difficult (except for the 20 mph winds!) - you pretty much see what's in front of you - few surprises. I'd play it again and enjoy it at any set of tees.

Lots of organic matter under the fairway. Had a bit a rain overnight that shouldn't have made the course unplayable. Shame. Always liked playing this course. Superintendents need to start aerating the fairways twice yearly. It's not a great expense once the equipment if purchased.

Wow, how can I say this. This is a very nice course point blank. I hate that it had rained a couple days before my group played. We still love this course. The layout is great! The staff was very friendly. It should be on NC /SC must play list.We are coming back to play here again in the Summer time. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Played here many times and still a fantastic course and layout. Recommend playing it.

Stonebridge continues to be one of the best conditioned public courses in the Charlotte area.
All turf areas are plush. And despite the brutal weather we experiences last summer into early fall, Stonbridge's maintenance staff kept the greens in great shape.

Played Stonebridge for the first time, Oct. 14, 15. Good layout, scenic holes, fair bunkering, and bent grass greens in great shape and fast. Was able to play the ball down with no problem. Good value with deal through Golfnow.com. Played blue tees (~ 6400 yards), within a foursome in about 3.5 hours. Definitely the kind of course I would like to play again, although the 1 hour 20 minute drive to the course is a limiting factor for me. One of the nicer courses in the Charlotte, NC region.
