Enjoyed the round
Had a local join my wife and I which was super since we did not know the course and he was fun. Thought we drove to SC to get to the driving range as it was an incredible journey. Tees, fairways and greens all in good condition despite recent heavy rains.

Definitely worth it
Course is in great shape. They just got in New carts that I'm told will be getting GPS monitors. The fairways and greens were in great shape. Tee boxes are much improved and overall just getting better.

Donald Ross + New Carts = Good times
Donald Ross designed nearly 400 golf courses, the front 9 may be in the lower 20% but is still a classic test of your short game. Be prepared to be humbled.
New Yamaha carts are the nicest ICE carts I have ever ridden.

Course did not have a starter at the first tee so there was a backup there. No marshalls on the course so it didn’t get any better. Our round took about 5.5 hours l, the front 9 took about 3

The course was fine. Even though we played in 4:15 hours the group in front of us was really slow. Driving around cart paths pretty bumpy. In another couple of weeks it should be greener.

Too many dry patches, beat up greens and unsuitable tee boxes. The best part of today was a friendly staff, the weather and the new golf carts.
