not a single bunker had sand in em....it was all mud, weeds, boulders.. very very poor...tee boxes and fairways were in better than average shape, greens are starting to get bad right now they are fair..needs work i remember when this course was one of the best around...nice staff , pace was pretty good always liked the layout but needs a lot of tlc!!!

The course layout Is great and views are gorgeous. I have played here many times over the years and the bunkers really need to be completely reworked and the greens were struggling to hold on here at the end of the summer. Those two things keep my review from being 5 stars.

Course layout was fantastic. Great staff. Most bunkers are under repair, but if you don't hit into them, nothing to worry about. Some greens are in poor shape, and all would be better if people repaired their ball marks on the greens.

Had a 7:30 AM tee time, so pace of play was great. Very challenging layout. Greens were in very good shape. Will definitely be back.

Course is in great shape including the greens...It is great they support good coronavirus practices

First time out at Silver Creek. I live in Morganton and this was my first time playing Silver Creek. Very Impressed with the course and facilities. Will be back tomorrow.

The course was is great shape except for the bunkers which were not being maintained and were unplayable. We layed out of all bunkers.

This course has it all (and for $32.00 with cart at 1pm)! I played today (Wed.July 22,2020) and it was hot! The gentleman in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful as well as the lounge all the staff were great as well. To be such a hot summer here and the course be in such great shape I could not have been happier. I was not held up by any golfers and I was a solo (took me 3 hours 20 min to play 18). The greens and fairways were immaculate and it was very obvious the golfers and staff did there part to make sure the course stays this way. Soft fairways and greens (how? with this much heat) and everything was COVID SAFE!! Do bring water or purchase from the lounge only because the course is taking all precautions with water containers on the course with Covid. The gentleman in the proshop told me ahead of time as well (so nice). I could not have been happier and will be back very very soon! Thanks to everyone at SilverCreek for such a great day and fro keeping everything out there in such pristine condition!

Silver Creek has always been one of my favorite places to play. Mainly because it’s right in my backyard. I haven’t played here in a while but the course never disappoints. If there was anything negative I would have to say, would be that the bunkers are pretty rough because it’s full of mud. However I have noticed they are trying to fix and grow in a lot of there bunkers with Bermuda which is smart because upkeep on bunkers is expensive. I think $35 is a little expensive for around here, so playing for $22 is a plus thanks to online deals.

I loved the course, but if you are going to play bring your short game skills. The greens are small and some narrow, so your irons need to be precise... Would definitely play here again...

Nice course Good layout and great elevation and views Course condition is average.

bunkers are being worked on at the moment but with Covid and no rakes on most courses it didn’t factor in.

Pretty much a private club experience and well worth the money! One of the new owners was extremely welcoming like I was a member myself and made sure that I enjoyed my day to its fullest… Can’t say enough great things about this place. Definitely will be back time and time again. I was speaking to current members and apparently the new management/ownership is top notch, working on the course to make it even better. Tee to green, this course was in great condition aside from some of the bunker work that they are working on currently Which I was told about ahead of my around as well. Well done SILVER CREEK PLANTATION!

Hot deal, 11:30 tee time. No one in front or behind us. Great course conditions. Fun course. Under 3hr round.

The staff in the pro shop and snack bar were great. Definitely playing here again.
