Really nice course at a good price point, only issue is pace of play and the bunkers are dirt!

This is one of the best golf course in the area, Layout and conditions. It is also very scenic. Strongly recommend.

Worth every penny of a $20 hot deal. Once regular rates go back to $35 plus,harder to enjoy it. The scenery alone is worth a $25 price.

Greens are still healing, which I knew before I went. Actually thought they were better than I expected.

Fairways aren't as plush as I remember. Pretty hard pan throughout but very playable.

No sand as previous reviews mention. Might as well pick up ball and toss out.

I played single and every group let me threw, so usual round under 2 hours.

Overall just as beautiful as I remember years ago. Surrounding views are unbeatable.

A hidden gem! Mountain golf in the foothills! Only beef was no sand in most sand traps! Gorgeous views and very challenging holes!

...ad then what happened? I was very surprised to get a call back from the course manager. He read a review II had left. My 1st experience there wasn't a pleasant one because of the pace of play. We were approaching a 6 hour pace of play. After hole 15 we called it quits. I had left an overall excellent rating for the course but stated my displeasure for the pace of play. Upon reading my review he took it upon himself to give me a second chance. He gave us a special rate to try the course again. It was very kind and generous. I really appreciated it. We had a great time. The course was a little busy but the pace of play was great this time around. Love the course and would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through or living around the area. It is well laid out, plenty of scenic views and a challenging but fun course! It was worth the hour and a 1/2 drive to revisit it. Thank you Wes for the opportunity!

It’s been a few years since I played Silver Creek it’s a fun track but the problem has always been slow play. Thought after a few years away this might be fixed but it isn’t. Made the turn to find 4 groups on number 10 it was hurry up and wait the entire back nine. Almost 5 hours to play on a Tuesday?

Greens were super quick...which was alright...but I declined to play the back due to Pace of play and the amount of elevation change....the course was challenging to say the least. The course was in decent shape, greens good, but bunkers definitely need attention. A starter is needed or better spacing between groups due to having a min of 8-10 min between shots.

Love my home course nothing bad to say great staff tough course greens are always great cant beat the bang for the buck bring your A game

This was the most up-and-down course with blind shots that I have played. I am sure that those with more familiarity are able to find enjoyment. It also should be noted that I played in 30 plus mph winds which did not add to the fun. The greens were bumpy due to not healed from aierification. Pace was on the slow side.

Pro shop check in was good with very nice pro staff. Grill bar staff were very friendly and working hard during virus.

Course was an above average mountain course for these parts. Greens were in great shape and sneaky challenging. Fairways for the most part were decent. The pace of play was horrible! The 1st 9 wasn't much of an issue but on the 10th hole it shut down and shut down quickly. After 2 1/2 hrs to get through 5 holes my group of 3 left. Would have loved to stay and finish to experience the full course but, being an hour and a 1/2 away we probably won't get that opportunity. It was greatly disappointing to drive an hour and a 1/2 to play the course and then after walk out because of pace of play.

Overall it was great, greens were just healing and still have bumps in them but will heal up nicely in about a week to two weeks!

Staff is always friendly and helpful, the snack bar is good too! Will be playing here more in the future!

Had a great time at Silver Creek, my game wasn't up to par today but had a good time! Course was in great shape and greens were fast, will definitely be coming back to enjoy this course! The mountain scenery from most of the holes were beautiful, couldn't ask for a more perfect place to play! Make sure you bring your A game though!

My husband and I looked for a course not too far off of the highway because we were driving our 36-ft. RV. This little gem of a course was such a highlight in our golfing experiences, that we haven't stopped talking about it since. We are originally from Michigan, now residing in Florida, and have played numerous (northern) MI and Florida courses. The Silver Creek track exceeded the beauty we've come to know and love from our own home states! We will continue to recommend this course to anyone that will be in the western NC vicinity.
