Good course condition. Greens a little slow, but consistent pace on all 18.. PLASTIC RANGE BALLS for 7-bucks, really?? Narrow course so hit it straight. Irons on most par 4s.. slow play on the back nine and no rangers to push the slow group.. overall a good experience for OBX.. I will certainly play again.

We played here on our vacation to Rodanthe and it was a great time with beautiful views and great course conditions. I am not a huge golfer but one day will be able to call myself good but it was a nice course to not have to use Driver from the tee box every hole and be able to lay up and place shots where you need them for the layout. Overall great course and lots of fun to play just stay out of the water. If we come back to the outer banks we will play again for sure.

I enjoyed the layout. Course was a little short and tight like resort golf. I did enjoy the round. Would play again.

Hadn't played the course in 4 years. On the short side, wind is the defense....we played in a 1-2 club wind from the South. Target golf layout. Fairways, bunkers, etc are in excellent condition.....the greens are bent grass (I wish they would switch to Bermuda)....the greens were very furry and maybe running a 9 on the Stimp.

Go play it if you are in OBX....just take plenty of golf balls!!!!!

Fairways and greens well-kept. Course was very narrow and tight with very little rough to hold the ball from rolling into thick thorny brush. Otherwise, beautiful course.

Course was in great condition, played in the afternoon.. pace of play was good.

I travel alot to play golf, and I've played alot of publics in the $200 range, this is absolutely not even close to worth $200 for the conditions. I paid the twilight rate of $95 and thankfully I did because I don't believe it is even worth $95. The layout has so much to offer but if you care about a great round of consistent golf, the greens are so important. The greens were extremely long, so long that my friend who played with me (who plays maybe 4 times a year) compared it to our $18 County course back home. In addition very long tee boxes and overall inconsistent conditions. Extreme disappointment for the money, wish I could have gotten it back. My friend did not care much because of the views, but even he couldn't believe how much it cost. In addition, the pace of play was a disaster, and was told there was a cart girl on the first tee who I never saw once. For $200, make the trip to the Pinehurst area, throw a rock in any direction and you'll find better conditions and probably be able to play 2 courses for that cost, or go play tobacco road and have the time of your life for $200.

I've played here a couple times now and I'd go back. The price is steep for what you get. The wind is very challenging but that's part of the fun.

We had people breathing down our necks the entire round... hitting into us. We had no place to go. Had to wait for the people in front of us.

Staff did their job but didn't make me feel overly welcomed considering the price.

The course is very challenging. Beautiful scenery of the sound.. people where outstanding.

My son's and I play here every year while on vacation; usually Father's Day weekend. It's always our best round of the year.

Tips out at 6,100 but plays a whole lot longer with forced lay ups. Great layout with challenging shots and beautiful views of the sound. Sunset rounds will take a little longer, but worth it for the views. Wind is a major factor here, often playing 2 clubs or more.

An excellent course that was fun to play except for the extremely slow pace of play - we had to wait for a significant period of time on every hole. We had a 1:12 pm tee time, and at 5:30 pm we quit after finishing the 13th hole - there were two groups ahead of us waiting to tee off on the 14th hole and a 3rd group was still on the green.

If it wasn't for the pace of play, we would give the course an excellent rating - maybe this was just a bad day for them.

My brother and I play this every year and it never disappoints. It can be a tough course but it’s always in great conditIon. If you’re on your game you can definitely shoot low. Greens play true and the pin placement tend to be fair. 10/10 would recommend
