Very nicely laid out course for a good price. Carts and course is well taken care of. The staff was friendly with the exception of "Stu". This old man needs to be drinking some whiskey on the course to take off his edge. Told us to make sure we kept up the pace and only look for a lost ball no more than 1 minute because they were booked. It was a midday Monday and no one behind us all day. Get a new greeter.

It’s not long, but the holes are challenging, with dog legs, narrowing fairways, well placed bunkers and water, etc. Fun to figure out. Only made it thru 14 before the hard rains washed out any chance of putting.

It wasn't the best weather for playing a round for the first time, but I shot decent and the course was well kept. The starters were fantastic guys and helped my Dad and I out on the course. Great folks.

Booked round for four, 3 experienced golfers 10-12 and 1 beginner. Starter gave us appropriate tees to play from and we played in 4 hours , 20 minutes. Course rewards shot makers. Greens were not fast, but rolled true. It’s our favorite spot in OBX and we’ll be back.

Played one day with the wind blowing north, the next day the wind was blowing south. It was like playing two different courses.

Very challenging and tight course. Rarely used my driver.

Day 1 hit a three wood on 15 (par 3), day 2 hit 5 iron.

Day 1 hit four solid shots into the wind on 18 (par 5), day 2 was 20 yards away from the green after 2nd shot. You get the idea.

Love the course and the unique holes.

The course is in great shape. Greens roll true and traps are well maintained. There is little rough, but many many waste areas that will eat you up. Most holes do not require a driver (or even fairway wood). Hit a long iron or hybrid as much as possible. Unless you hit the driver straight as an arrow (the wind will move it on every hole) and know the course well (many blind shots), you should only use a driver for about 5 holes. It is said about many courses.....but you just want to hit fairways and greens. No need for 300 yard drives.

The staff was great and the marshals move people along. The pace of play was much better than expected on such a challenging layout. It is a short course, but depending on the wind, it can be a difficult (and fun) as any course you play.

I enjoyed it so much, I played it the next day.

It was rainy Thirty mile an hour winds. Playing a links course. Heavy grass. Tight fairways. Houses everywhere. It was me my son my son in law my brother in law and his son. ..... It was one of the best golf days ive ever had. Thanks for a wonderful day

The course was in great shape. The pace of play was great. The ocean breeze adds an extra element to the course. We look forward to playing it again!!!!

Once again this course does not disappoint. The course is in excellent condition and continues to provide a challenging but enjoyable round.

The course is very tight. choice of Tees makes a big difference on the difficulty. Lots of trouble. Tight fairways and water everywhere. Greens rolled well and fairways were good with very little rough. Hitting driver will get you into trouble especially the front nine. Traps are in good shape and some beautiful golf holes especially near the ocean. Enjoyed the course and hit every club in my bag.

Nags Head Golf Links rarely disappoints. Course was in terrific shape.

Paid to play 18 with cart today, lighting hit after playing 7 holes and ranger made us head in. We are here for vacation and leaving early Friday morning. Staff would not provide any refund or pro shop credit. We were offered a rain check that would not even cover the cost to play 9 holes at another time. I pointed out the agreement on golf now that states you are responsible for full green fee unless the course is closed due to weather (which it was) bug they did not care to follow or make right with us. Very unhappy with their customer service. I believe they knew we were playing on vacation and intentionally “shafted us”

I will be sure GolfNow is made aware that they are not following the policies they agreed too. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Not worth the money to play it early in the morning. Wait until the afternoon when the price drops. Staff is not friendly at all. Asked to play the back 9 since I’ve never got to play it and was told no because they were too busy. Parking lot was nearly empty. I will be going somewhere else next time we are in the outer banks.

This was my second time playing this course. It is pretty tough but it is still awesome. I like a good challenge when playing golf and this one definitely offers that! The overall condition of the course was phenomenal! Greens were rolling fast and in awesome shape! Definitely will go play this course again in the future!

Course in great shape. Staff friendly, food good, beer cold. Pretty challanging for son and I. Lots of sand and water.

Nice views of the Sound.
