Nags Head Golf Links

Perfect weather plus a course in great condition combined to make a perfect golf outing with my family. Nags Head Golf Links will be a must play during future visits to the OBX.

2nd time out and the aeration has filled in nicely and the greens are fantastic. Staff kind and attentive. Course not very crowded for Dec. 26 and a 57 degree windless day in the sound. Course in typical fine shape, traps, fairways . . . Fun course, not long but challenging with lots of water, spongy rough and plenty of well placed brush. Great deal makes for a perfect round!

Greens were spectacular. Course was not crowded, surprising for Dec. 26 with a sunny 57 degree windless day in the sound. Course in fantastic Winter shape, especially the greens. Aeration has taken effect, great result. Lush and true. Same challenging course. Bring balls and hit the fairway. Not a long course but plenty of trouble. Fun golf and kind, friendly staff. Well worth playing.

Had a blast on this tight gem conveniently close to the Outer Banks. Nearly had the course to ourselves. Greens rolled true, and the course rewarded great shots.

If you are in the vicinity of Nags Head Golf Links-GO! There are five sets of tees for all golf levels. Spectacular views of the inter coastal sound. Fantastic layout, tight grass fairways, smooth puttable greens. Challenging but fair. Enjoy!

Great virw of the sound. Bring lots of balls. Trouble everywhere. Short bit the trouble makes it difficult. 6100 from the tips. The wind is also a major factor. Fun, tough course. Nice greens.

Course was in very good condition, but for playing when just on vacation for the first time there is too much prior knowledge required. Blind shots, narrow fairways, unknown landing areas, etc. Other layouts on obx are more desirable for first time players.

Very good condition, especially after the heavy rain in the morning. Very windy, but that's a given due to the location of being near the ocean and on the bay.

Nags Head Golf Links is a very nice lay out. It's quite beautiful in many ways. The day we played was perfect: clear, cool and sunny. It did become a bit more windy on the back nine -- just enough to let you know that more wind could be a serious problem with this links course! The course was in Tip-Top shape: greens, fairways and bunkers. We really enjoyed our round of golf. Actually, the water views alone are worth the price of admission!

If you're in the area, GO! Enjoy. It's a great value too.

I played this course while vacationing in Nags Head. It was reasonably priced for the area and had some unique features. I would recommend stocking up on golf balls before heading out. I would definitely play again.

I have vacationed on the Outer Banks off and on for 25 years and I never miss the opportunity to play Nags Head whenever I am down there. Love the course and this year I got hooked up with 3 younger guys and enjoyed it immensely. I have always found the course in great condition and this year was no exception.
